In addition to attending the 2019 AACTA International Awards, Emily Blunt hit the red carpet at Variety’s Creative Impact Awards during the 2019 Palm Springs International Film Festival in Palm Springs, California.

Honoring Creativity: Emily Blunt Receives the Creative Impact in Acting Award
Emily Blunt, the talented actress known for her remarkable performances in “Mary Poppins Returns” and “A Quiet Place,” was bestowed with the Creative Impact in Acting Award, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the film industry.
Emily Blunt’s lovely Roksanda Pre-Fall 2019 dress boasted a delightful ombre effect, playfully adorned with shades of neon pink and green, which she paired effortlessly with soft pink Brian Atwood Crawford sandals featuring sleek, minimalist straps that enhanced the dreamy aesthetic of her look
A Legacy of Excellence: Past Recipients of the Creative Impact in Acting Award
The esteemed Creative Impact in Acting Award has been bestowed upon remarkable talents in the past, including Daniel Kaluuya, Charlize Theron, Mark Wahlberg, and Steve Carell.
“I have to say that this year with ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ and ‘A Quiet Place,’ it’s sort of been emblematic of some sort of acting dream for me, the Jekyll and Hyde-ness of the two projects,” said Blunt. She was introduced by Disney’s president of production, Sean Bailey.
“The joy I felt playing this fantastical nanny, bringing back childlike wonder and turning even a bathtub into something extraordinary, to the joy I felt hearing the dread-inducing screams of the people watching me give birth in a bathtub — there’s sort of running theme that I really wanted it to be — a year of bathtubs. They were both equally joyous experiences actually,” Blunt added.
Blunt said, “To be given an award that is about having a creative impact of some sort is something that I am so appreciative of because I don’t see creativity as a luxury, I see it as a necessity. It’s very much a part of being human.”

A Colorful Fashion Statement: Emily Blunt’s Vibrant Roksanda Dress
The “A Quiet Place” actress looked ready for spring in a neon-tinged Roksanda Pre-Fall 2019 dress featuring raised silk fabric and billowing sleeves. Emily styled her colorful dress with full-bodied blonde hair, Brian Atwood shoes, and Irene Neuwirth jewelry.
Brian Atwood’s exquisite designs have long been a favorite among celebrities. For instance, Teresa Palmer captivated onlookers at the British Fashion Council’s International Showcasing Initiative, pairing her ensemble with Brian Atwood’s “Clizia” sandals.
Similarly, Eva Longoria turned heads at the Monte Carlo TV Festival, stepping out in the striking “Zenith Lux” pumps. These pumps, with their distinctive embellishments, added a touch of glamour to her outfit.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen her in a dress by the Serbian fashion designer. She wore a vibrant, embroidered dress at the 2nd Annual unite4:humanity event and a black dress at the 2010 Style Awards.
Throwback: Emily Blunt’s Chic Look at the 2010 Style Awards
In December 2010, the British beauty was spotted at the 2010 Style Awards with Kate Bosworth and Camilla Belle.

But unlike Kate, who graced the event in simplistic Jil Sander style, Emily chose to wear a bow-detailed dress, which she matched with a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti silk satin bow sandals (yes, the same sandals Selena Gomez was spotted wearing at the Grammy Nominations Night, but in black).

I can appreciate the dress’s ribboned glory and the exquisite Zanotti sandals, but did she have to go bow-detailed all the way? What do you think?
Emily’s dress is from designer Roksanda Ilinčić, and she wore a ring and earrings by David Yurman. And her shoes, well, you can find them at Farfetch. Although the two look lovely in their own right, they don’t seem to make a pretty pair, agree?
Had I been Emily, I’d have gone with classic peep toes or platform pumps instead.
