They’re just one of the many celebrity power couples who showed up at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles for the 27th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday.
Kirsten Dunst and her fiancé Jesse Plemons were nominated in the Best Acting Ensemble category for The Power of the Dog, which took home the gong for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Cinematography.

The Fargo star was also up for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the New Zealand-led Western psychological drama but lost to Ariana DeBose for West Side Story.

Posing on the red carpet together, Jesse donned a black tuxedo with a white shirt and a bow tie while the Midnight Special actress, who’s often seen in romantic dresses, turned up in a minimalist modest fashion.
Kirsten kept her curves under wraps in a Julie de Libran Spring 2022 Couture periwinkle gown. While she looked effortlessly elegant, the loose fit and structured silhouette of the dress were rather unflattering.
It’s made from silk faille taffeta and features puff sleeves and articulated bejeweled brooches on the front.

Styled by sisters Nina and Clare Hallworth, Kirsten paired the somewhat dated frock with jewelry by Fred Leighton.
She accessorized with Antique Diamond Swallow Bird earrings, an Antique Rose Cut Diamond ring, and a Georgian Rose Cut Diamond Oval Open Link necklace, which she wore as a bracelet.

Hairstylist Bryce Scarlett styled Kirsten’s blonde hair in soft waves while makeup artist Pati Dubroff gave her a hint of blue eyeshadow and red lipstick.
A pair of Roger Vivier flower strass buckle pumps completed Kirsten’s red-carpet look. They’re handcrafted in silk satin and feature 4-inch heels and the signature buckle embellished with crystal flowers.
