On Sunday, the mother-of-one showed off her youthful look in a Julien Macdonald Spring 2020 gown at the 25th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards.

Channeling old Hollywood glamour, Kate flaunted her svelte figure in a one-shoulder semi-sheer pale lilac dress. The heavily embellished gown features a draped ruching effect, a structured shoulder with a dramatic cape, and a thigh-high slit.

Kate added extra sparkle to her look with waterfall diamond earrings by Kallati. She also accessorized with several sparkling diamond rings by Yvan Tufenkjian and Djula, handpicked by former Rachel Zoe Project star, her long-time stylist Taylor Jacobson.
Although we couldn’t get a clear look at her shoes, Kate actually wore a pair of Jimmy Choo ‘Max’ sandals. Boosting her height by a few inches, these metallic silver leather sandals feature slender ankle straps, open toes, 1.5-inch platforms, and about 6-inch heels.

Kate’s trusted glam team prettified the actress further. Celebrity makeup artist Rob Scheppy used Armani Beauty cosmetics to bring out her youthful glow. He applied natural nude blush, pearly nude lacquered liquid lipstick, black mascara, lacquered liquid eyeliner, and glittery fuchsia eye-makeup.
Hairstylist Peter Savic styled Kate’s tresses in retro waves, while nail expert Miwa Kobayashi painted her nails in an auburn shade.

Aside from being blessed with good genes, Kate follows a skin care routine to help maintain her youthful skin.

In an October 2018 interview with Today, Kate shared her go-to skincare products.
She revealed that she uses Cetaphil soap ($3.57 at Amazon), a tried and dermatologically tested soap that costs under $4.
“I use Cetaphil soap, no kidding,” Kate told Today.
Given her estimated $16-million net worth and the fact that she can splurge on any expensive beauty products, it’s quite surprising that Kate is a fan of this drugstore soap. Maybe it really does work wonders on her skin.

Kate is also a self-confessed sunscreen addict.
“Sunscreen. It was fashionable to be tan when I was growing up. And yet, I was lucky. I would get freckles in the shape of a military mustache. So I was obsessed with sunscreen. I didn’t get sun damage. Now I use La Roche-Posay ($20 at Amazon). It doesn’t make me break out,” she said.

Kate also exfoliates regularly using Colbert MD Tone Control Facial Discs ($80 at Dermstore). “I then use Dr. Colbert. He has these Tone Control Facial Discs. They exfoliate.”
She’s also a fan of skin oils, which hydrate and soften skin for a more youthful look.
“I use oils. I use Derm Institute, the Youth Alchemy Oil. And that’s it,” Kate said.
Kate doesn’t drink alcohol
Kate is a smoker but she steers clear of alcohol. In the January/February 2017 issue of Shape Magazine, Kate said she doesn’t drink anything with alcohol.
“I feel [its effects] very quickly, so I’ve never actually had an entire glass of anything alcoholic.”
She also eats clean, with mostly protein and vegetables on her plate. “We have a lot of sautéed vegetables like brussels sprouts and broccoli and chicken and fish.”

Aside from following a skincare routine and paying attention to what she eats, Kate also works out six mornings a week.

She shared details about her workout in an interview with Women’s Health in December 2019. She mentioned she didn’t start working out until Pearl Harbor director Michael Bay asked her to lose weight for the film.
“It wasn’t great, it didn’t make me feel good, and in general, I think women are body-shamed 100 million percent more than men. But on this particular project, I wasn’t,” she said.
She added, “Now exercise is almost more important to me moodwise. The other aspects feel like a great side effect.”
