If you asked us to start naming off some of the controversial trends, it wouldn’t take too long until we got to the “dress and pants combination.” Of course, this pairing isn’t exactly new.
The pairing of pants and dresses seems to pop up a few times every year, and this year definitely saw several offenders. We think it’s pretty hard to wear this trend well, but Kaley Cuoco recently showed she knows how to wear a dress over pants.

Not only did Kaley wear this trend well, but she also wore it phenomenally. The actress debuted her version of the dress-and-pants combo at the 2016 Critics’ Choice Awards in Santa Monica.

Kaley was dressed by celebrity stylist and “Fashion Police” host Brad Goreski. The stylist opted to put Kaley in Noon by Noor’s pink look from the brand’s 2017 Spring collection.

The ruffled high-low top featured a long train, and when paired with cuffed cigarette pants? It was perfect from every angle.

Kaley absolutely owned the look, and it’s clear from the photos that she knew it too. Even Brad Goreski, who seldom shares his clients’ outfits on Instagram, couldn’t resist posting a picture of her stunning ensemble.
The actress brought her boyfriend, Karl Cook, to the awards night.

The stylist finished Kaley’s look with a pair of Stuart Weitzman “Courtesan” sandals. It’s not the first time we see her in these heels.
