The Cameron Boyce Foundation’s Cam for a Cause Gala
The Cameron Boyce Foundation celebrates the memory of late actor Cameron Boyce by hosting an annual gala to raise funds for research and awareness of epilepsy and SUDEN (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy), which claimed Boyce’s life in 2019.
The foundation set out to raise $10,000 in honor of Cameron Boyce’s 25th birthday this year to contribute to epilepsy research, education, and awareness campaigns, all while supporting causes close to Cameron’s heart.
Dove and Sofia have been involved with the organization since its inception in 2022 to support their late Descendants co-star, Cameron, who portrayed Carlos, Cruella de Vil’s son.
This year, the two upped the ante and sported exquisite gowns that undoubtedly stole the spotlight.
Retro Glamour Meets Modern Romance: Dove Cameron in Polka Dot Prabal Gurung Gown
When it comes to red-carpet dressing, Dove Cameron is not one to shy away from taking fashion risks. But for the gala, she chose to keep things slightly reserved yet dramatic.
The 28-year-old Purple Hearts actress embraced her inner retro princess, wearing a polka-dot ballgown cut from Robin’s-egg blue tulle that, in my opinion, wonderfully accentuated her pale skin tone.
The princess gown features black polka dots contrasting nicely with the light blue-green tulle fabric. Cameron’s slim figure is further defined by the tight, ruched bodice and the flattering sweetheart neckline, which daringly reveals her ample cleavage.
I love how the dress is cinched at the waist with a black lace ribbon and then gently transitions into a dramatic, voluminous skirt with a bubble hem.

Hailing from Prabal Gurung’s Fall 2024 collection, the dress debuted on the runway at the 2024 Nashville Symphony Fashion Show held at Schermerhorn Symphony Center in April.
This year’s fashionable fundraiser event, which aims to support the Nashville Symphony Orchestra’s education and community engagement programs, featured Prabal Gurung as the headliner. Gurung’s Fall 2024 collection includes gorgeous princess gowns and classic contemporary pieces.

I wasn’t surprised that Cameron injected her signature edge into the polished look. Here, she expertly blended her dark, edgy aesthetic with her retro princess look by sporting long, black nails that matched the black accents on her dress and her black Le Silla shoes.
Made in Italy from patent leather, the “Uma” shoes were barely visible beneath Dove’s voluminous gown. They have comfy platforms and sharp pointed toes and are beautifully secured on Dove’s ankles with the buckled wraparound ankle straps.
With their 5.5-inch stiletto heels, these shoes added to Cameron’s 5’2” stature. They are available at Farfetch for $620.

Highlighting her tattooed hands, Dove further styled her look with 18k yellow gold and diamond rings by Tiffany & Co. Her jewelry choices included the $2,675 T Diamond Wire Ring featuring 0.13 carats of round brilliant diamonds and the $2,700 Soleste Half Eternity Ring adorned with a half circle of 0.17 carat diamonds.
I admire how Cameron opted for a more understated styling, leaving her neck and ears unadorned to draw attention to her striking gown and body tattoos.
Glam-wise, Dove doesn’t disappoint. She accentuated her stunning green eyes with winged eyeliner, mascara, and smoky mauve-brown eyeshadow before finishing the modern-romantic look with a dainty blush and mauve lip color.
I appreciate how she just wore her blonde hair in loose waves, falling down her back and tucked behind her ears.

Cameron was accompanied by her boyfriend, Måneskin frontman Damiano David, on the red carpet. He chose a more subdued outfit for the event instead of his frequently topless on-stage appearance.
He layered a brown leather jacket over a white shirt and a blue tie, finished with baggy light brown trousers and brown leather shoes. His clean, slicked-back hairstyle and mustache made him look dapper.

Sofia Carson, who frequently wears bold silhouettes and textures on the red carpet, looks stunning in a billowing ostrich feather gown that epitomizes her signature style.
I’m enamored with the exquisite Oscar de la Renta gown she wore to the event. It wonderfully captured her innate grace and flair for fashion.
Crafted from airy, semi-sheer fishnet tulle, the breathtaking gown is entirely covered with white ostrich feathers. Glittering crystals and jewels adorn the neckline, enhancing the design’s glitz.

Some of you may not like the shapeless silhouette, but I am obsessed. Carson, who’s not afraid to push fashion boundaries, has already mastered the art of looking amazing, even in shapeless dresses.
It’s sleeveless, allowing her to showcase her toned arms, and has a long train trailing behind her every step.
The UNICEF Ambassador complemented her white feather gown by keeping her glam neutral. She wore brown smokey eye makeup, blush, and lipstick, and her chocolate hair cascaded around her shoulders, creating a stunning contrast with the gown.

Carson usually doesn’t go crazy with accessories, and I think it’s admirable that she kept the rest of her ensemble simple so that her feathery gown could take center stage.
She chose to forgo jewelry and finished her look with clear heels. While white pumps or sandals would have complemented her dress, the clear heels added a unique touch to her overall appearance.
