We promised a Dita Von Teese feature the other day, so here it is. The burlesque beauty was very much present during all three days of the Coachella Music Fest. And because she’s Dita Von Teese, it was hard not to take notice. She was a standout in her outfits, and was actually quite refreshing to look at. Suffice to say, she was the rose in a lawnful of daisies. And guess what her “shoe code” was for the event? Espadrilles! Yep, the burlesque queen paired all her Coachella outfits with rope soled sandals.
For her first day at Coachella, Dita wore a multicolored shirtdress paired with yellow lace up wedge espadrilles. On the second day, she was spotted looking catty and cute in a retro-nautical inspired outfit finished with another pair of espadrilles. This time, flat and printed ones with lots of ankle ties. And finally, on the last day, Dita opted for a kimono dress and capped off the look with a sailor hat and the same espadrilles she wore on the first day:

A closer look at Dita’s Christian Louboutin espdadrilles
What do you think of Dita’s Coachella style? Better yet, what do you think of her choice in shoes? Word has it that her espadrilles are from Christian Louboutin. We could not find the wedges online, but we did find a plain version of the flat lace ups – the ‘Spartacorda’ canvas lace up sandals.

The ‘Spartacorda’ will cost you a high $445 if you decide to get it. If you think that’s too much, try searching for an alternative at Amazon or Zappos. As for those wedges, we were able to find a substitute but it isn’t an exact copy. Take a look at these DKNY ‘Sweet’ wedges.
