Dianna Agron discusses her friendship with Taylor Swift in an interview with Rolling Stone released this month.
The former “Glee” star was asked about her influence on Swift’s hit song “22,” a song from her fourth studio album Red. It included Agron in the liner notes as one of the inspirations for the song alongside Selena Gomez. This means that Swift considered Agron as one of the people who inspired her to write the song, either through their friendship or the experiences they shared together.

Dianna Agron humbly denied being the inspiration for the song and attributed it to their friendship instead. While the two were spotted hanging out together regularly between 2011 and 2012, rumors circulated that their relationship was more than just a friendship.
Me? Oh, if only! That’s more because of a friendship than being the inspiration for the song. But I would not be the person to ask about that. I cannot claim that!
However, Agron dismissed those rumors and expressed amusement at the wildly untrue stories that have been reported about her dating life.

Taylor Swift wrote and sang “22” as a joyful celebration of her youth and her experiences with her friends. The song is not specifically about any one person or romantic relationship.

In late 2012, Taylor Swift was busy promoting her fourth studio album Red, and she was dressing the part. The album includes hit songs such as “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” “I Knew You Were Trouble,” “22,” “Red,” “Everything Has Changed” (feat. Ed Sheeran), “The Last Time” (feat. Gary Lightbody), and “Begin Again.”

After hearing Taylor’s new song, “I Knew You Were Trouble,” fans were left wondering whom she was singing about.
It is widely believed that Taylor Swift wrote “I Knew You Were Trouble” about her brief relationship with British actor Harry Styles.
While you probably can’t get your hands on one of Taylor’s boyfriends, you can definitely get your hands on her jacket and shoes.
