After her “In the Fade” promotional duties, Diane Kruger stepped out on the red carpet for the 70th Cannes Film Festival closing ceremony. It seems like Diane has a lot to celebrate, considering she won the Best Actress award for her performance in the German political thriller.

The 40-year-old actress and former model definitely saved her best look for last, as she sashayed down the red carpet in a custom Jonathan Simkhai creation. Accompanied by director Fatih Akin, Diane navigated the iconic steps of the Palais des Festivals in her floor-length gown, which featured an off-the-shoulder design, puffed sleeves with ruched detailing and a short train detail. She styled it with side-swept waves, minimal makeup and a metallic silver clutch.
A stunning assortment of Chopard jewels, which include a gorgeous diamond necklace, provided the finishing touches to her winning look.
