There’s nothing quite like having a reliable go-to outfit for those days when you don’t feel like putting much thought into what to wear. While an all-black ensemble is always a safe bet, creating a chic look requires more effort.

If you think you’re in one, looking for inspiration or ideas is one great way to beat the style rut. You can check out bloggers on Chictopia and LookBook, or better yet, scroll through pictures of celebrities known for their impeccable fashion sense. Gwen Stefani, Jessica Alba, Diane Kruger, and Olivia Palermo are just some of those famous names.

Of course, there are other celebrities from whom you can get outfit ideas. Take, for example, our muse for today, who also happens to be a retired supermodel — Cindy Crawford.

The leggy brunette may be pushing 50 — she’s 48 years old — but like her peers, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, and Christy Turlington, she can give her modern-day counterparts (read: Victoria’s Secret angels) a run for their money. The woman can dress just as well, too.

While arriving at LAX early this month, Cindy looked effortlessly fabulous in spring-appropriate attire that included blue-infused pieces—a blue-printed scarf layered over a light blue chambray shirt.

She wore the two with white skinny jeans, some comfy flat sandals, a Cartier tote, and uber-cool sunnies. It was a no-fuss mix, yet she looked terrific.

Don’t you love her blue-themed outfit? It looks fantastic and is very easy to put together. You don’t need to be a style genius to cook it up, let alone pull it off. Did we mention it’s perfect for spring weather, too? So, how about we take a cue from Cindy Crawford today?

Grab your white skinny jeans and light blue denim or chambray shirt to do so. If you don’t have one, we’re including several options below for you to consider:
