I’ve always admired Demi Moore. Her incredible figure and daring yet classy red carpet style never disappoint. One of her most notable red-carpet moments to date came at the Dolce & Gabbana 40th anniversary gala, where she wore a glittering sheer gown from the Italian luxury fashion house, no less.

Demi Moore was among the celebrities invited to the inauguration of the Dal Cuore alle Mani (From the Heart to the Hands) exhibition at Palazzo Reale. In addition to honoring Dolce & Gabbana’s legacy, the exhibition celebrates Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s creative process, including the Italian artisans and cultural heritage that influenced their work.

Other guests included Lupita Nyong’o, Lily James, Naomi Campbell, Olivia Culpo, Helen Mirren, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Cher. All wore breathtaking outfits, but I think Demi Moore’s dress was the evening’s most eye-catching.

Defying Age with Elegance: Demi Moore at 61

Demi Moore looks incredible. She’s 61, turning 62 this year, ICYDK. Surprised? Not only does she appear much younger than she actually is, but she also has a fantastic physique for her age.

The Ghost star made the most of the event, showcasing her enviable assets in a see-through sheer gown that revealed a glimpse of her undergarments and slender figure.

The Details That Made the Look

Instead of the skin-tone undies that many celebs wear with see-through gowns, I think it’s great that Moore opted for black underwear—a black bra with high-waisted boyshorts. It’s more understated but sophisticated, in my opinion.

I also like how Moore didn’t look trashy, even with so much skin on show. Regardless of her outfit, she always exudes elegance and grace.

Everyone’s eyes were on the Feud: Capote vs. The Swans actress. In addition to the gown’s see-through design, the tiny crystals sewn on the mesh created a shimmering effect that I adore.

The shape of the dress also looked very flattering; it featured a column silhouette fitting at the bodice, full sleeves, and a high round neck. The central slit at the back allowed Moore to walk around the exhibition with ease.

A pair of strappy black sandals with open toes and about 4-inch heels enhanced Moore’s sexy yet classy look.

Celebrity Stylist Brad Goreski’s Touch

Brad Goreski, who counts Annaleigh Ashford, Kaley Cuoco, and Jenna Dewan as clients, curated her stunning evening ensemble. I applaud him for forgoing the jewelry and allowing the sparkling gown to steal the show.

Moore kept her glam simple as well, which I think enhanced the overall sophistication of the look. Lisa Laudat styled her raven tresses pin straight with a center parting, while Kay Montano accentuated her striking features with pink lips, mascara, and soft pink blush.

Highlighting the Dal Cuore alle Mani Exhibition

Curated by Florence Müller, the Dal Cuore alle Mani exhibition “unfolds a narrative of intimate connection.”

“A #DolceGabbana narrative shaped by cultural heritage, spanning from traditional #MadeInItaly craftsmanship to contemporary visual arts, amidst the backdrop of Italy’s profound heritage. The exhibition at Palazzo Reale Milano embodies innovation, theatre, music, opera, ballet, and the essence of #DGAltaModa, #DGAltaSartoria, and #DGAltaGioielleria.”

The exhibit will run from April 7 to July 31 at the Palazzo Reale.
