What makes this particular set of scarves so special? The designs are the result of a collaboration between the iconic label and renowned British artist Damien Hirst.
This is Alexander McQueen’s way of celebrating the 10th anniversary of its iconic skull scarf. Sweet, right?
Hirst created 30 designs for the collection, but we could only examine two closely.
One showcases a more obvious skull pattern using butterflies, while the other features a more abstract print of bugs and butterflies that look haunting from a distance. Check them out below:

Do you like what you see? They are beautiful, aren’t they?
The only drawback is the price, especially for the green cashmere piece, which is quite expensive. However, don’t hesitate to order one if you believe it’s worth the investment.
You can only purchase these scarves at an Alexander McQueen store or website. By the way, below are a few more of Hirst’s designs that may be worth considering.

On a side note, the classic Alexander McQueen skull scarf is a gorgeous enough piece to collect (if you don’t already have one) or give.
The most affordable option, made of silk chiffon, retails at $295. While still pricey, it’s considerably more accessible. Plus, it’s available in many colors, giving you many choices. Check out this beautiful one in blush red.
