I must say, Daisy Edgar-Jones is the queen of the plunge! After dazzling the crowd at the 2024 BAFTAs in a plunging and leg-baring Gucci gown, the 25-year-old actress charmed the front row in yet another plunging dress at Friday’s Fall 2024 Ready-to-Wear fashion presentation.
Exuding Sensual Elegance in a Charcoal Gray Dress
Looking sensational in her charcoal gray plunging dress, Edgar-Jones had all eyes on her, and I’m not surprised, considering the stunning display of her assets.
She was seated in the front row beside style luminaries Alexa Chung, Solange Knowles, Salma Hayek, and Kirsten Dunst, but she didn’t let them stop her from stealing the show.
The halter dress’s sophisticated appearance was enhanced by its charcoal gray color. At the same time, its form-fitting design and wide, plunging neckline that stopped below the sternum gave the dress a sensual appeal. I love how it clung over Daisy’s slender body, embracing her contours while creating an attractive, flattering silhouette.

The Art of Accessorizing a Plunging Dress
Accessorizing a plunging dress can be tricky, but for me, the key is to keep things understated and timeless, allowing the dress to steal the show while adding flair and elegance to the overall appearance.
With the help of her stylist, Nicky Yates, Edgar-Jones made a wise decision by going without a necklace and adorning her wrist and ears with a chunky chain bracelet and large gold hoop earrings.
Adding a touch of practicality to the look, Daisy carried her essentials in a black patent leather bag by Gucci. The $3,800 “Bamboo 1947” mini bag featured a hand-curved bamboo handle with a 3.1-inch handle drop and a bamboo closure.

Chic Footwear and Post-Show Style
Completing her chic monochrome look were her black patent sandals, which I believe were also from Gucci. They were secured around her ankles with thin straps and featured open toes that showcased her black pedicure. The thick double platforms and towering heels added several inches to her 5’6″ height.
After the show, Edgar-Jones layered a charcoal gray coat over her provocative dress and hid her eyes behind a pair of rectangular-framed jet-black sunglasses by Gucci.
Peter Lux fashioned her shoulder-length hair in a blown-out style, while Shayna Gold used mascara and eyeliner to draw attention to Edgar-Jones’ eyes before adding a swipe of pink lipstick for some color.

Breaking Fashion Rules With Confidence
It’s already 2024, and I think the legs or cleavage rule, once regarded as a cardinal fashion rule, is no longer relevant.
Daisy Edgar-Jones also seems to agree, judging by her noncompliance with the dress rules during last week’s BAFTAs ceremony.
The Where the Crawdads Sing actress showed off her cleavage and legs while wearing a gorgeous wine-red gown created by Gucci creative director Sabato de Sarno. It was part of Sabato’s first eveningwear collection for Gucci called Ancora Notte, which debuted at the 2023 LACMA Gala.

I feel like this sensual Gucci gown was meant for Edgar-Jones. Each contour of her toned body was accentuated as it flowed beautifully over her curves.
The stunning gown had a dangerously low plunging neckline dipped to her navel with a knot detail at the waist. The gown gracefully cascaded to the floor, but the wide leg split revealed a pair of hot pants, showcasing her toned legs.
Elevating the Look With Exquisite Jewelry and Footwear
There’s no better way to finish off a red dress than with matching red shoes. She wore custom Jimmy Choo “Minny” sandals with the same strappy design, open toes, ankle straps, and stiletto heels.
Daisy added the final touches with Cartier jewelry, perfectly putting the ensemble together without appearing overly decorated. She wore a Cartier ring set with diamonds and ruby red stones and the exquisite Cartier Sixieme Sens Collection earrings dangling from her ears.

Achieving the Perfect Beauty Look
Her shoulder-length, two-toned hair, styled by Jillian Halouska, fell in soft waves. Nina Park, meanwhile, used Hera Beauty cosmetics to give her a fresh-faced appearance, which I think was the perfect beauty look to let her outfit pop.
Park used the Radiance Primer, Silky Stay Foundation 24h Longwear PA++ in 23N1 Beige, Creamy Cover Concealer in 21N1 Vanilla, and Make Up Fixer to even out Edgar-Jones’ skin tone and give her a radiant look.
She emphasized her eyes with the Quad Eye Color in 03 Nude Distinct, Easy Styling Eye Liner in Black, and Rich Long Lash Waterproof Mascara in Lash Black before applying the Rouge Classy in 413 Modern Beige on her cheeks and lips.
