Cynthia Erivo has nailed the subtle method of dressing game throughout the Wicked press tour. I especially like how she’s embracing her character Elphaba’s signature green hue with a dash of glitz and flair rather than wearing something too costumey.
At the London photocall for the musical fantasy comedy-drama movie, Cynthia sported yet another simple but striking and wickedly amazing ensemble.
Cynthia Erivo Stuns in a Custom Green Moschino Power Suit
Cynthia donned an outfit especially made for her by Moschino, a brand she has worn frequently in recent years. Her admiration of the brand didn’t surprise me because I felt their styles were similar: bold and unique, often incorporating a range of inspirations and embracing femininity, edginess, and glamour.
Cynthia ditched the more elaborate dresses for the Wicked London photocall, opting instead for a more understated style that, in my opinion, is appropriate for the event.

She looked sophisticated in the green suit, which featured a single black button and oversized black satin peak lapels, creating a stylish contrast. Cynthia paired the structured blazer with wide-leg pants with a cuffed hem, giving the ensemble a modern, edgy vibe.
Though I adore the co-ord set, I wish she had gotten rid of the black silk chiffon blouse—or rather, the minidress—layered underneath. Its asymmetrical knee-length hem and pleated ruffle details at the cuffs somewhat detracted from the suit’s sleek sophistication.
However, Cynthia managed to add her personal flair to the ensemble with the addition of the blouse. Wearing nothing underneath the suit makes it another example of the shirtless blazer trend, which is already quite popular with celebrities like Charlize Theron, Blake Lively, and Zendaya.
Thankfully, the blouse’s plunging neckline is as deep as the blazer’s, allowing Cynthia to showcase her triple heart chest tattoos, enhancing the overall edge of the ensemble.

Emerald Jewelry from Dyne Elevates Cynthia Erivo’s Glamorous Look
Cynthia, a maximalist dresser at heart, unexpectedly chose to forgo the necklace in favor of several sparkling hoop earrings and rings from Dyne, her go-to jeweler, during the Wicked press tour.
She accessorized her lower earlobe with large gold, emerald, and jadeite hoop earrings inspired by tubular structures from Dyne’s Immortality series. They feature 4.02 carats of emeralds and jadeite from the Cunas mine in Colombia’s Western Boyaca region. As per Dyne founder Sarah Ysabel Narici, “These emeralds are the result of the natural geological processes of the Muzo formation, renowned for its remarkable mineral reserves.” They are set into yellow gold and offset with natural jadeite.

Cynthia also wore tiny diamond hoops running up her upper earlobe and helix and statement rings adorning her out-of-this-world-manicured hands.
I wasn’t shocked to see Cynthia sporting another set of acrylic nails at the Wicked London photocall, as she has made long, pointed nail art her signature throughout the movie’s press tour, which unofficially started at the beginning of the year. I loved how her go-to nail artist, Gina Oh, designed them with green accents to correspond with the event’s theme.
Cynthia’s makeup, which flawlessly complemented her outfit, included a beautiful emerald-green eyeshadow. She also wore fluttery eyelashes and matte mauve lips.

Christian Louboutin Boots Add Edgy Flair to Cynthia Erivo’s Wicked Photocall Style
I love how Cynthia, with the help of her stylist Jason Bolden, rounded out her look with shiny Christian Louboutin boots.
She wore the “Dolly Alta” boots made in Italy from patent leather. Their 6.5-inch towering stiletto heels, 2-inch platforms, and red bottom soles make them instantly identifiable.

Cynthia Erivo Dazzles in a Gold Printed One-Shoulder Dress on The Graham Norton Show
A day later, Cynthia Erivo graced The Graham Norton Show to discuss Wicked. I was surprised she didn’t wear black or green, instead opting for a pale gold dress with shimmering botanical prints.
It looks oriental, in my opinion, yet the ruffled one-shoulder style gave it a classic-contemporary feel. She appeared to be wearing the same nails and jewelry but added a black Vivienne Westwood necklace that enhanced the overall glitz of the ensemble.

Wicked UK Premiere: Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande Shine in Couture Fashion
At the Wicked UK premiere, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande again paid homage to their characters by wearing yet another wickedly good ensemble, but this time drawing influence from the musical number “One Short Day” from the original Wicked stage production.
Cynthia and Ariana donned the couture versions of the stage costumes, with Erivo in a black Schiaparelli high-low gown and Grande in a yellow Ralph Lauren.
I’m glad Ariana chose an airy, buttery yellow silk chiffon gown instead of her typical pink outfits, but I must give Cynthia props for putting together yet another stunning look that perfectly captured her love of all things glitzy, playful, whimsical, and edgy.

She wore a black velvet and tulle gown featuring a fitted sleeveless bodice with a high neck and a voluminous, high-low skirt with a tulle explosion embroidered with contrasting light pink square-shaped rhinestones.
Schiaparelli’s creative director, Daniel Roseberry, designed the gown for Erivo, taking inspiration from the house’s Apollo of Versailles cape from the 1983 Zodiac collection.
I love how the matching embroidered black tights injected a hint of glitchy futuristic edge to the look, while the black velvet opera gloves and headpiece with tonal feathers, inspired by a vintage shoe, enhanced the look’s glamour.
Her De Beers earrings and black platform ankle-strap pumps rounded out her stunning look.

Cynthia Erivo’s bold fashion choices have consistently turned heads on the red carpet. At the 2024 Gold Gala, she stunned in a grape-printed Balmain gown, embracing the fruitcore aesthetic with a black velvet bodice and a whimsical green grape-print maxi skirt.
More recently, at the Los Angeles premiere of “Wicked,” Erivo dazzled in a custom green vinyl Louis Vuitton dress featuring a plunging neckline and waist cutouts, perfectly embodying her character’s signature hue.
These ensembles highlight Erivo’s fearless approach to fashion, seamlessly blending classic elegance with contemporary flair.
