The Rent: Live crew that Tinashe is part of was a big winner at the 2019 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Saturday evening.
The team behind the television special bagged two awards, namely for Outstanding Lighting Design / Lighting Direction and Outstanding Production Design for a Variety Special.

For such a big night, Tinashe surprisingly kept things understated in a black midi dress with a flared hemline.
However, she did pack some intrigue via shoes. The 26-year-old singer donned a pair of celebrity-favorite clear pumps but one featuring an unusual etched floral design and crystal embellishment that we don’t see very often.

Tinashe’s Dolce & Gabbana ‘Bette’ Cinderella mary janes kind of look like plastic Barbie shoes, but we got to give it to the Tinashe for selecting a different take on the clear shoe trend.
The 2 On songstress was also right in getting rid of the black flower embellishments. The all-clear ‘Glass Slipper’ version with crystal-buttoned straps and unadorned plexiglass heels is much more preferable.

Before they nabbed double Emmys, the Rent: Live cast and crew held a For Your Consideration Event for their three-hour TV special back in June.
Tinashe also donned a little black dress for the occasion. She posed like her character Mimi Marquez and raised one foot to show the red bottoms of her Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps.

A mini dress and six-inch stilettos are a deadly sexy combination, and Tinashe looks like she knows it.
