Ciara and Kim Kardashian’s friendship dates back to the late 2000s, when they were frequently pictured shopping and hanging out together. It’s not known how they first met.
The two icons got so close that Kim even threw Ciara a surprise party for her 25th birthday. Ciara even appeared on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and was invited to Kim’s wedding to Kris Humphries in 2011.

Years later, the two have both become mothers, and their kids, North West and Future Zahir, eventually became best of friends.
In a 2014 interview with US Weekly, the children’s book author shared how Kim helped her navigate motherhood when she was still pregnant with her first child, Future.
“We [go] over really personal stuff from the woman’s side of things. We’ve had great conversations and it’s been really cool.”
They also talked about baby gears, saying, “I’m obsessed with the Orbit stroller [Kim has] and she showed me how it works—the simplest things are so fun to you as a mom.”

The Like a Boy hitmaker also told W Magazine that Kim gave her advice on “everything from breastfeeding to how a stroller works.”
It appears, however, that their friendship was short-lived as Ciara and Kim have not been seen together in recent years.

Rumored Rift Between Ciara and Kim
Rumors surfaced that Ciara and Kim had a falling out when the Goodies singer began dating her now-husband Russell Wilson in 2015.
Ciara allegedly distanced herself from Kim because Wilson didn’t like his wife hanging out with the reality TV star.

According to a Life & Style source, the Denver Broncos quarterback “explained to [Ciara] that the Kardashians don’t have the best reputation in pro sports circles.” He apparently dislikes the famous family “because of how they’ve slept with their friends’ men.”
The insider added that Ciara “agreed to respect Russell’s wishes” and that “Russell doesn’t mean to judge, but he just doesn’t want to associate with people living lives that he finds unacceptable.”

Just recently, the couple was pictured looking loved-up while posing together at the 2022 ESPY Awards held at Dolby Theatre.
Russell wore a paneled jacket with metallic silver pinstripes across the top half and pitch black at the bottom half. He layered it over a black shirt and finished the look with black trousers and glossy patent brogues.

Never one to shy away from a fashion risk, Ciara set temperatures rising in a daring gown from London-based couture brand Sabina Bilenko’s Spring 2022 collection.
Bow Wow’s ex-girlfriend flaunted her boobs in the extremely plunging gown with crystal-embellished sculpted bra pads that somehow helped cover her breasts.

The sensational black velvet gown also had a sheer panel below the bust, crystal trims around the neck, long sleeves with structured shoulders, and a fitted floor-sweeping skirt that highlighted her hourglass curves.
Sweeping her blunt bub to one side, Ciara accentuated her features with shimmering eye-makeup and nude lipstick.
She then accessorized the look with a few bling that consisted of a pair of diamond stud earrings and several silver rings.

Ciara and Kim Kardashian Prove Their Friendship Is Strong
Last week, Ciara and Kim just proved to everyone that their friendship is still going strong.
The 36-year-old singer recently released her first single in two years, titled Jump, and she took to Instagram to share a video montage of some of her celebrity friends lip-syncing to her new track.

Much to everyone’s surprise, Kim Kardashian made it to the video, bopping with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, La La Anthony, J Balvin, Natalia and Vanessa Bryant, and Latto.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen interaction between the two, but the short video just proved they’re still friends.
