White pumps aren’t something we see on the runways or streets too often. They can be hard to match, and often impossible to keep clean. However, Christina Ricci managed to get past what would concern the rest of us, considering she was spotted wearing the same pair of white pumps two different ways.
The 37-year-old actress made entertainment headlines on Thursday when she showed up to the “Z: The Beginning Of Everything” special screening in an Azzedine Alaia Spring 2017 look. She hit the fashion bullseye in her navy-red-and-white a-line dress that featured small target prints on it. She continued the tricolor theme on her blue-rimmed eyes, red Edie Parker perspex clutch and the white Gianvito Rossi “Gianvito” pumps on her feet.
Christina could’ve easily gone with a brighter-colored shoe for her ensemble, but we love that she went with the often-underutilized white pair for her dress.

The other notable time Christina wore her white pumps was actually a couple days earlier at the Chanel Artists Dinner held during the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. She wore the same Gianvito Rossi pair, but with a sparkly gray long-sleeved sweater dress this time around.
Again, Christina could’ve worn any other shoe color, but pristine white pumps were the perfect elegant complement to her accessories: the pearl strands wrapped around her wrist and her Chanel plexiglass perfume bottle clutch. The “After.Life” actress completed her look with bobby-pinned bangs, kohl-rimmed eyes, and orange lipstick.
