Christina Ricci Returns to the Red Carpet in Style
In June 2016, it had been some time since we had the pleasure of seeing actress Christina Ricci, known for her role in the film Casper and numerous other films.
We last spotted her on the carpet three years earlier when she attended The Fresh Air Fund’s “Salute to American Heroes” event. It was good to see her again at the 2016 CFDA Fashion Awards.

In an interview, Christina Ricci said her short height makes getting acting jobs in Hollywood difficult.
“I don’t think that’s ever going to happen for me,” she said in the September 2015 issue of Premiere magazine.
“I’m five-one first thing in the morning, and I tend to look really small on camera. I can probably go as far as Holly Hunter went, then I think that’s going to be it. I have a feeling I am way too small.”
The actress sported a new blonde ‘do and wore a Coach mini-shirt dress with gold piping.

“I’m 5 foot 1 inches so I’m obsessed with proportion – I really have to have a waist, or it has to be super-short,” Ricci told Net-A-Porter’s The Edit magazine about her fashion choices.

The dress is from the brand’s Fall 2016 collection. She paired the long-sleeved dress with black and red suede platform sandals.

Christina left the rest of her outfit simple, allowing the focus to remain on her dress. The Matrix Resurrections actress wore dark earrings and a nude manicure and carried a black clutch.

She was in Coach, of course, because — as she shared on Instagram — she was sitting next to “her favorite [person],” Creative Director of Coach, Stuart Vevers.
We were happy to see her again after such a long hiatus.
We can’t identify her exact pair of sandals, but we did find a similar pair available for purchase at Zappos.
