The bold sartorial sense and signature quirky style of Chloë Sevigny are not for the faint of heart. Ever the fashion nonconformist, the 42-year-old actress constantly takes risks and dismantles the notion of what red carpet dressing should be. It’s her irreverent attitude towards fashion that makes her a bonafide style icon and the ultimate cool girl.
The actress-slash-designer showcased her take on the power suit trend at the New York premiere of “Good Time,” putting her cool-girl spin on a deconstructed tuxedo from cult Paris-based brand Y/Project. Her black fitted blazer dress featured satin lapels and elongated bell sleeves with ruffle trims and button closures. This menswear-inspired piece also has a micro hem and a double-breasted silhouette for a more flattering cut. Chloe styled her power suit with a white striped button-down shirt, a black bucket bag, bold red lips and strappy snakeskin heels.
