Following Gabriela Hearst’s departure, Chemena Kamali assumed the role of creative director Chloe in October 2023. Although Hearst left some huge shoes to fill, I must say that her successor did a fantastic job with her first collection for the luxury fashion house, unveiled during Paris Fashion Week on Thursday.
Featuring plenty of fringes, laces, and frills, Kamali brought Chloe back to its bohemian origins with her debut Fall 2024 collection. Her footwear line also pays homage to the label’s boho beginnings, with clogs, boots, and pumps adorned with fringe and stud accents.
Practically every person in the Chloe Fall/Winter 2024-2025 front row opted for wedge shoes, but to everyone’s surprise, they were all wearing the same wedges. I’m curious whether they talked about it before the show.
According to Elle, the shoe in question is named “Maxime.” They have wide black leather crossover vamp straps, peep toes, buckled slingback straps, and chunky wedge heels covered in random doodling.

Celebs wearing the Chloe “Maxime” shoes in the front row included Kiernan Shipka, Georgia May Jagger, Sienna Miller, and Kathryn Newton.
I’m thrilled that wedge shoes are returning for spring 2024, given how much these celebs dig them. Wedge shoes not only make me appear taller, but they also add a stylish touch to even the most basic outfits.
Even though these celebrities were sporting the same footwear, they managed to add personal touches to their ensembles. Let’s look at how they styled the now-viral Chloe wedge shoes.
1. Kiernan Shipka’s Less Is More Front Row Approach
Kiernan Shipka grew up before our eyes, going from the young star we used to see around in dreamy gowns to an adult who is now brave enough to show off some skin.
I like her experimenting with her looks and moving outside her fashion comfort zone. However, even though I thought her outfit for the Chloe show was interesting, I wasn’t particularly drawn to it.
The Mad Men actress appeared to have forgotten her trousers as she stepped out in just her knitted high-waisted underwear in olive green, one of my favorite color trends for spring 2024.
But while I am fond of the color, I still don’t think the ensemble is all that fantastic. I would have probably appreciated it if she had worn a skirt, at least. Nevertheless, Kiernan looked confident, parading her enviably toned legs in the skimpy underwear.

The 24-year-old actress teamed the look with a matching cable-knit cardigan with gold buttons partially undone to showcase her undies and a hint of her flat abs.
She kept her accessories cohesive, pairing her Chloe wedge sandals with a black leather purse and sunglasses. A dainty gold necklace, earrings, and a ring tied her look together.
I love how Kiernan went for a retro glam look, giving the contemporary pantless trend a dash of nostalgia. Her hair was crimped and teased, resulting in voluminous curls cascading around her shoulders.
Soft, smoky eye makeup highlighted her hazel eyes, and a dash of pink lipstick and blush finished her look.

2. Sienna Miller’s Modern Take on Bohemian Chic
Sitting next to Kiernan Shipka was Sienna Miller, who was rightfully invited to the show due to her reputation as the 2000s bohemian queen.
Miller just gave birth to her second child in December, and I am in awe of her post-partum glow. She looked stylish in her modern interpretation of bohemian chic, further cementing her status as the queen of boho dressing.
The bohemian aesthetic is all about being relaxed and free-spirited, and Miller perfectly embodied the boho mood with her flowing, white slip dress adorned with lace accents. I love how the lace-trimmed sides and zigzag hem gave the otherwise plain white dress a stylish touch.

Although I find it disappointing not to see the entirety of the slip dress, I appreciate Miller’s inclusion of the oversized black leather motorcycle jacket; it provided a youthful vibe and a tough-chic edge to the bohemian look. It featured a wide collar, utility pockets, loose belted sleeves, and black rib-knit lining.
Sienna Miller maintained coherence by accessorizing with a black purse and oversized black sunglasses that matched her hefty wedge heels and blazer. She wore a statement ring, a delicate necklace, and a pair of earrings for a dash of glitz.
Her blonde hair was worn in waves, and her simple peach makeup accentuated her inherent beauty.

3. Kathryn Newton’s Boho-Goth Style
I’m obsessed with Kathryn Newton’s distinct style, which typically blends elegant, refined aesthetics with timeless silhouettes that often have a nostalgic feel.
At the Chloe fashion presentation, the Lisa Frankenstein star showed off her love of sleek style, donning an all-black outfit that complemented the boho vibe of the show.
She paired her two-tone wedge heels with black flared trousers that accentuated her slender legs and a bohemian-style cropped lace top that revealed a glimpse of her abs.

I like how her ornate blouse countered the simplicity of her pants. It was fashioned from a sheer lace fabric that was intricately embroidered, enhancing the overall appeal of the ensemble. It boasted classic bohemian features, including wide bell sleeves and a V-neckline.
Newton kept her neck bare to create a sleek appearance, adding only a few rings for a bit of sparkle. She wore a pair of oversized black sunglasses to conceal her alluring blue eyes, and she carried her essentials in a beige purse with a gold ring handle.
Newton completed her stunning appearance with delicate pink makeup and beautiful blonde hair styled in gentle waves that cascaded across her shoulders.

4. Georgia May Jagger’s Blend of Sass and Edge
Like Kiernan Shipka, Georgia May Jagger left her pants at home and put her toned legs on display for the Chloe fashion presentation during PFW on Thursday.
The 32-year-old model looked stylish in her buttery, soft black leather coat with fur trimmings, but I can’t quite put my finger on what’s lacking. Though I’m not complaining specifically about her pants—or lack thereof—I thought the outfit was too basic for fashion week.
At least her chunky two-tone Chloe wedge heels brought an intriguing touch to the ensemble.
She decided to forgo the jewelry and kept her fashion show necessities in a salmon pink bag with a gold ring handle, similar to Newton’s.

Georgia was seen with her famous mother, Jerry Hall, a Chloe muse in the 1970s.
Like her daughter, the 67-year-old supermodel opted for simple outerwear, wearing just a camel coat with tan leather pointed-toe boots.
