In September 2013, the 10th Annual Style Awards kicked off Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2014. As expected, a slew of fashionable stars graced the event, from celebrity designer Nicole Richie to stylist-at-large Rachel Zoe. We ended up shoe spotting, of course. There were a lot of pointy pumps at the event, but honestly, only a handful of heels were interesting enough to warrant serious attention.
Check out who and what caught our eye at the 10th Annual Style Awards below. And while you’re at it, you might as well tell us who rocked the best look of the night in your opinion.
1. Bridget Malcolm’s Bold Transparency in Gianvito Rossi Heels

Aussie model Bridget Malcolm opted for a see-through mini dress and finished it with equally transparent pointy-toe PVC heels.
Given the “steam” on the plastic, she was sweating in her shoes, too. Nonetheless, the cap-toe pumps were stunning enough to earn her a spot here.

Bridget’s pumps are from Gianvito Rossi. They’re made from black patent leather and transparent PVC. What you see is what you will get with these shoes, namely pointy cap toes and super slim heels that are 4 inches tall. Do you think it’s ever possible to rock a pair without sweating in them?

We couldn’t tell if the pair was the “Anouk” or the “Abel,” but we’re guessing it was the latter. Do you think our hunch is correct?

3. Lily Aldridge Dazzles in Louis Vuitton and Chic White Pumps
Lily Aldridge stunned in a black sequined Louis Vuitton mini dress, paired elegantly with vintage-inspired white bow-tip pumps, at the 10th Annual Style Awards
Lily Aldridge wore Louis Vuitton from head to toe. She finished a sporty-looking sequined tee dress with white bow-tip pumps that feature extra pointy toes.
The pair also comes with really narrow block heels. Her shoes look vintage yet modern — the kind of shoes we here at YNS would love to grab and keep for the rest of our shoe-holic lives.

Victoria’s Secret angel Lindsay Ellingson looked ravishing in a bright red dress, which she finished with nude laser-cut-detailed peep-toe pumps.
The first time we saw the pair, we were ready to turn away because it didn’t exactly look extra special from a distance. However, thank goodness we made an effort to do a close inspection because they’re gorgeous! Can you help us ID them?

Nicole Richie wore a well-decorated Antonio Berardi top-and-trousers set and finished the edgy look with triple-strap platform Mary Janes from Vivienne Westwood.
The tastemaker was definitely ahead of the game with her fashion-forward style, a risky choice that reaped quite a few nods.
