Sports Illustrated celebrated its 50th anniversary at Dolby Theatre in Beverly Hills yesterday, and for the momentous occasion, several of the magazine’s famous cover girls over the decades were there to attend. Sure, Kate Upton and her contemporaries were there, but the ones who really caught our eye were the hotties from the past, such as Rebecca Romijn, Christie Brinkley, Rachel Hunter, Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Marissa Miller, and Petra Němcová. You could say these ladies gave their younger counterparts a run for their money because they dazzled on the red carpet.

1. Christie Brinkley in Sergio Rossi (?)

Christie Brinkley was the most stunning Sports Illustrated alum at the event. Not only did she look much younger than 59, but she sizzled in a pair of gold-detailed t-strap sandals that reminded us a lot of a pair from Sergio Rossi. Christie’s shoes were exquisite, but we could not quite understand why she wore them with stockings.

2. Rachel Hunter in Nicholas Kirkwood

Rachel Hunter, also known as Rod Stewart’s ex-wife and probably famous for her role as the hot momma in the music video “Stacy’s Mom,” wore a long black gown for the occasion. She teamed the dress with lace Nicholas Kirkwood heels. We can’t find her shoes online, but a similar pair crafted from mesh and pearls is available for the picking at Ssense.

3. Tyra Banks in Gianvito Rossi (?)

Tyra Banks reminded us of the models in those GUESS ads when she stepped on the red carpet in a lace-detailed number complete with big hair yesterday night. Smokey-eye makeup and a pair of cuffed pointy pumps punctuated her look.

While we don’t have the official info yet, Tyra’s ankle-wrap heels remind us a lot of the pair from Gianvito Rossi. They do look very similar, right?

4. Rebecca Romijn in Christian Louboutin

Yes, Rebecca Romijn, the former Mrs. John Stamos and also known to many as “Mystique” from the ‘X-Men’ movies, was many times a Sports Illustrated model. For the occasion, she rocked a dazzling dress and finished the frock with silver metallic pointy pumps from Christian Louboutin.

5. Marissa Miller in Christian Louboutin

Another lady who graced the event in a sparkly number was Marissa Miller. The former model wore a bronze sequined shift dress and finished the outfit with nude “Lady Peep” pumps from Christian Louboutin. We couldn’t find the exact pair online, but if you want something similar, Louboutin’s “Very Prive” pumps are just as classic.

6. Heidi Klum in Classic Red Pointy Pumps

Heidi Klum arrived at the event in head-to-toe red. She rocked a red leather coat-dress and topped off the sassy piece with matching red pointy pumps. The look was simple but downright sexy. How do you like Heidi’s style?

7. Petra Němcová in Manolo Blahnik (?)

The last looker to earn our nod was Petra Němcová. For the occasion, she slipped into a colorful strapless number but kept the rest of her extras simple by opting for a gray box clutch and textured silver pointy pumps.

Correct us if we’re wrong, but Petra’s pumps look a lot like the mesh-detailed pair from Manolo Blahnik. Could our hunch be right?
