The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge recently concluded their weeklong royal tour of Scotland.
On the final day of their trip, Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William, who was appointed Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, attended a traditional Beating Retreat ceremony complete with Highland dancers and the Massed Pipes and Drums of the Combined Cadet Force in Scotland.

Looking elegant as always, the Hold Still author wore a light blue wool coat dress from London-based French-born fashion designer Catherine Walker.
Her royal outfit features cuffed long sleeves with a button fastening and a belted waist that highlighted her tiny figure. It also has a pleated skirt with a straight hem that fell right on her knees.

For her accessories, Kate wore a floral bouquet brooch with a matching set of earrings.
She also added a yellow gold apollo blue topaz pendant necklace from British jewelry designer Kiki McDonough and her Garrard & Co sapphire and diamond engagement ring.

Beauty-wise, the 39-year-old duchess glammed up with light pink blush, lipstick, and subtle eye makeup. She then swept her chestnut hair back into a half-up style with loose curls cascading down her back.
Catherine carried her essentials in a $355-handcrafted navy croc leather “Multrees” chain wallet from her favorite Scotland-based fashion accessories brand Strathberry.
