The queen of sustainable red carpet dressing is back with another recycled look!
Cate Blanchett, 54, has been championing sustainable fashion for years, and Thursday was no different when she showed up at the David Koch Theater at the Lincoln Center for The Fragrance Foundation Awards.
Teaming with her trusted stylist Elizabeth Stewart, Cate showcased her incredible figure in a gorgeous Giorgio Armani Privé gown, which has been upcycled four times since 2014.

Blanchett first wore the enchanting gown to the 2014 Golden Globes, where she won Best Performance in a Motion Picture – Drama for her comedy-drama film Blue Jasmine.
The captivating Armani number was initially made from intricately embroidered sheer lace fabric and had shimmering black crystal embellishments, a modest high neck, cap sleeves, and a floor-length A-line skirt.
At the 2018 Cannes Film Festival, the Paradise Road actress wore the same design but changed the styling by sporting a center-parted chignon hairstyle and a huge pair of dangling earrings.

Five years later, The Lord of the Rings actress decided to repurpose the Giorgio Armani gown for the 2023 SAG Awards, where she was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for the award-winning psychological drama Tár.
The gown’s original lace design was incorporated into a glimmering liquid sequin gown that had a flattering form-fitting silhouette with a structured bodice, cross-back straps, a plunging neckline, and daring side cutouts.
Cate gave the gown a new life just four months later at The Fragrance Foundation Awards, where she presented the Hall of Fame Award to L’Oréal CEO Nicolas Hieronimus.

The first Giorgio Armani Global Beauty ambassador and the face of Sì by Giorgio Armani fragrance donned the same micro-sequined plunging dress but switched out the original floral lace underlay for a see-through sheer mesh fabric.
She looked mesmerizing in the Armani creation that came complete with a sleeveless design and multicolored bead embellishments in a harlequin pattern.

Stylist Elizabeth Stewart, who’s known to dress up high-profile celebrities like Jessica Chastain, Calista Flockhart, Amanda Seyfried, Elizabeth Olsen, and Rebel Wilson, kept Cate’s look elegant and styled her with just a pair of Louis Vuitton earrings.
The An Ideal Husband star also adorned her short manicured hands with a few statement gold rings and rounded out her stunning look with towering black heels, adding significant height to her frame.
Nicola Clarke styled Blanchett’s blonde lob in tousled waves, and Mary Greenwell gave her a peachy look using Armani Beauty. Her complementary makeup featured subtle smokey eyeshadow, mascara, peachy blush, and matching matte lipstick.
