Cara Delevingne was spotted wearing a brightly printed head scarf last week while at Chiltern Firehouse. She styled the headband with a casual outfit with a sweater, black leggings, a Mulberry Cara Delevingne quilted nappa bag, and Chanel high-top sneakers.

The next day, Britain’s “it” girl repeated the combination (same headscarf and sweater) while out and about running errands in London. This time, however, Cara switched her leggings to short denim cutoffs and black over-the-knee socks.
We’re guessing she was probably too lazy to think about what to wear and decided to grab whatever was lying around in her bedroom.

Do you approve of the way Cara wore her scarf? While we may have mixed feelings about the overall outfits, we appreciate how the silk square brightened up her look. It’s a quirky ensemble with an unexpected pairing that leans toward the un-glamorous side, but Cara surprisingly managed to pull it off.
Silk squares printed in bright hues are great pick-me-uppers, most especially when you want to spice up a very basic outfit.
To copy Cara’s second look — sorry, we can’t say we love the first one, so we’re not going to recommend it — grab a pair of denim cutoffs and a sweater, then wear the mix with over-the-knee socks and sneakers.
Once you have the ensemble, top it with this colorful square scarf from Nordstrom. Simply wear it like a headband a la Cara:
