“The amount of awkward f—ing things I did in this movie… I can’t,” Lovato captioned a scene of herself and co-star Alyson Stoner, who portrayed Caitlyn Gellar.
“I told yall – how awkward am I?!!!” the artist added while laughing uncontrollably in the background.

Behind the Scenes: Casting Choices
Initially, Selena Gomez was considered for a starring role in the film alongside Drew Seeley. However, she passed on the part, and when Demi Lovato, then a newcomer, was cast, the producers sought a big name to attract viewers, leading to the involvement of the Jonas Brothers.
David DeLuise, who played Selena’s father on Wizards of Waverly Place, revealed that Selena Gomez was offered the lead role in “Camp Rock.” Still, she turned it down to ensure Demi Lovato got the part.
