Stevie Wonder’s music has touched many of us, so it’s easy to imagine how standing in his presence would feel like a dream come true. For Camilla Belle, that dream became a reality when she had the chance to pose with the legendary artist.
In January 2017, Camilla experienced a true fangirl moment as she arrived at the Art of Elysium’s 10th anniversary gala, “Stevie Wonder’s Heaven,” in Los Angeles.

Camilla wore a haute couture dress from Bertrand Guyon’s Schiaparelli Fall/Winter 2016/2017 collection. The unique design featured a structured velvet top contrasting with whimsical embroidery on the skirt, showcasing stars, butterflies, and animals.
The actress accessorized her look with jewelry from Tiffany & Co., a box clutch from Hayward House, and a pair of black “Effie” crystal platform sandals from Sophia Webster.

Camilla uploaded a paparazzi photo of herself beside Stevie Wonder himself right before the event started. The actress evidently couldn’t keep herself from smiling in the photo as she stood beside the music legend.
The then-30-year-old uploaded the photo with the caption, “Pinch me.” We don’t blame you at all, Camilla.
The spotlight was on Stevie Wonder, named the 2017 Visionary, who brought his interpretation of “heaven” to life in a unique artistic installation. Camilla Belle, honored with the Spirit of Elysium Award, was recognized for her dedication, volunteerism, and support of the organization. Proceeds from the event supported young artists in music, fine art, fashion, and theater/media arts.
