Lady Gaga accepted the award for Best Original Song for A Star Is Born‘s “Shallow” at the 2019 Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Mark Ronson and the rest of her collaborators also joined her on stage.

The 32-year-old singer and actress stunned in a black Alexander McQueen gown featuring sculptural padded hips and a lengthy train.
She styled the ultra-feminine dress, which was designed by Sarah Burton, with a 128.54-carat Tiffany & Co diamond that was first discovered in South Africa in 1877. In addition to the diamond stone, the necklace features 100 more carats of white diamonds.

It was displayed at the 1983 World’s Fair held in Knoxville, Tennessee, worn by Audrey Hepburn in 1962 for promotional posters for Breakfast At Tiffany’s, and featured in the Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris during the mid-nineties.
The only women who’ve had the honor of wearing it are socialite Mrs. Mary Whitehouse, Audrey Hepburn, and now Lady Gaga. The diamond is valued at more than 30 million dollars.
The diamond was at the center of a Jean Schlumberger diamond ribbon necklace for some promotional shots for Breakfast at Tiffany’s
“Lady Gaga is the ultimate creator, innovator, and rule-breaker, and I’m thrilled that she will be wearing the legendary Tiffany Diamond on the awards show red carpet for the first time since it was discovered 141 years ago,” Reed Krakoff, Tiffany & Co. Chief Artistic Officer, said in a statement.
