After sparking feud rumors in 2018, Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick recently reunited at the London special screening and photocall for their upcoming movie, Another Simple Favor. The actresses showcased their contrasting yet elegant styles, wearing red and black outfits for the photocall and later swapping to black dresses for the special screening.

As the sequel to the 2018 mystery thriller A Simple Favor, Another Simple Favor reunites Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick as their characters, Emily Nelson and Stephanie Smothers. In the original film, vlogger Stephanie attempted to unravel the mystery surrounding the disappearance of her closest friend, Emily. This time, the story takes a dark turn with a new mysterious murder. Set in Capri, Italy, the sequel centers on a murder at Emily’s wedding to an Italian businessman.
Directed by Paul Feig, Another Simple Favor will be released on Amazon Prime Video on May 1.
The trailer opens with Blake Lively making a dazzling entrance in a pair of striking Christian Louboutin “So Full Kate” calf-skin stud silver glitter boots—an eye-catching style that has, unfortunately, already sold out online.

Let’s see what Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick wore on their London press tour.
Blake Lively Exudes Power in David Koma Leather Fringe Coat and Christian Louboutin Boots
In stark contrast to her previous floral fashion selections for It Ends With Us, Blake Lively’s most recent press tour ensembles feature edgy, enigmatic pieces that complement the darker tone of her new film.
Lively was a vision of unapologetic confidence and power in a sleek black leather coat from David Koma’s Fall 2025 collection. It featured a standard single-breasted blazer silhouette, with a structured bodice balanced by a plunging V-neckline that showcased her cleavage—she opted to go braless underneath, demonstrating her mastery of the shirtless blazer trend as she had done before.
While it appeared to be a two-piece outfit, the coat was a floor-length design, with the lower portion layered with fringes. I love its flowing effect, which contrasts with the structured bodice and adds a sense of movement to the entire look.
These swinging strips of leather allowed us to catch a glimpse of her shoes. I commend Lively for teaming the coat dress with boots, which complement the ensemble’s edgy and bold appearance.

She’s wearing Christian Louboutin’s Lipstrass Botta Alta boots, one of the must-have shoes for 2023. They are made of ultra-shiny satin and have pointed toes and fitted thigh-high shafts, creating a polished, streamlined look.
What I like about these boots is the intricate strass-embellished heels inspired by Louboutin’s iconic lipstick tubes. The heels draw inspiration from Egyptian architecture and the ancient beauty of Queen Nefertiti, adding an element of timeless elegance to the classic thigh-high boot silhouette.
Blake Lively accented her outfit with multiple silver hoop earrings and diamond rings, opting for a necklace-free look. Although she looked fabulous, I think a sleek bun would have enhanced the edgy aesthetic and further highlighted the sleekness of her dress.

Anna Kendrick Embraces Romanticism in Zuhair Murad Floral Lace Dress and Alena Etta Heels
Anna Kendrick is known for her effortlessly cool, feminine, and quirky style, often mixing chic pieces with playful elements. But for the London special screening of Another Simple Favor, she took a different route, embracing a darker romantic aesthetic with a black floral lace dress from Zuhair Murad’s Spring 2024 collection.
The dress’s bodice boasted a flirty vibe, with its plunging neckline revealing a glimpse of Anna’s cleavage and its waist cutouts adding a touch of allure. Paired with ruffled lace cap sleeves, the top half exuded a hint of playful sophistication. The skirt, made of the same floral lace fabric, fell elegantly to her ankles.
I appreciate Anna’s choice to keep her accessories to a minimum, with understated jewelry from EFFY and simple black sandals from Alena Ettea, as her dress already took center stage.

She wore the Alena Ettea “Anais” sandals crafted from black crepe satin. They featured sleek toe and ankle straps set atop 4-inch high heels that helped elevate Anna’s short 5 feet 1 inch (154.9 cm) height, but even so, they did not completely make her as tall as her co-star, Lively, who measures 5ft 8 ½ inches (174 cm).
The sandals’ low profile and black color allowed them to blend seamlessly with her black dress.
Although they are supposed to include a bejeweled organza tulle garter around the ankles, Anna removed the unique element, likely allowing her dress to take center stage. Additionally, considering the length of her dress, it will most likely be fully covered.

Blake Lively Channels Retro Preppy Style in Chanel Cardigan and Knee-High Boots
In stark contrast to her cool-girl appearance at the film’s special screening, Lively adopted a French-girl energy for the Another Simple Favor photocall in London.
She went for a sophisticated 1960s preppy style, dressed head-to-toe in Chanel. Her oversized black wool cardigan, featuring light yellow trims and pearl buttons, added a chic touch, while a black leather mini skirt peeking underneath enhanced the ensemble’s Parisian charm.
Lively’s accessories, jewelry, and bag were spot on, and her retro glam was the cherry on top. She didn’t skimp on jewelry, styling her preppy outfit with gold Lorraine Schwartz earrings, bracelets, and chunky rings, which perfectly complemented her cardigan.
The finishing touches included a black Chanel Boyfriend Alligator watch, pre-owned for $17,086 at Farfetch, and a black quilted Chanel Camera bag that debuted in Spring 2024.
Blake’s retro glam was also on point! Her hair was fashioned in a half-up, half-down ponytail with a 1960s beehive accented with Jennifer Behr’s “Adley” velvet bow barrette.

Adding a hint of flirty vibe to the look, Blake wrapped her slender legs in black tights before slipping into a pair of Chanel over-the-knee black leather boots. I love how this addition took the ensemble to an even more elegant yet effortlessly chic level.
Lively’s Chanel OTK boots elongated her figure, making her legs appear longer. They feature shiny almond cap toes, platforms, and thick, tapered heels, providing her with extra height without compromising comfort.
The boots’ slouchy shaft completed the design, highlighting Blake’s legs and lending the outfit a carefree yet stylish touch. She appeared to have just stepped off the streets of Paris and onto the photocall!

Anna Kendrick Adopts 1980s Business Wear in a Red Rixo Skirt Suit and Gold Christian Louboutin Pumps
Anna Kendrick’s monochromatic red look for the photocall was a breath of fresh air, blending retro charm with a contemporary touch.
Exuding vintage elegance, Kendrick wore a longline red waistcoat and a matching red mini skirt by Rixo. The straightforward combination had a clear throwback feel, echoing the unique vintage silhouettes synonymous with the UK-based label.
The “Ingrida” red waistcoat is an interesting choice. It’s made of a lightweight boucle and has a triangular cutout hem and a classic V-shaped neckline, giving Anna’s look structure while accentuating her slender frame. It’s wise of Anna to pair it with the “Stefania” red boucle mini skirt, designed with gold buttons to match her waistcoat.
I believe Anna Kendrick nailed this look, effortlessly exuding confidence and refinement while staying true to her retro-chic style.
I love how the outfit’s clean lines and gold buttons paired nicely with Kendrick’s gold accessories, adding an element of polished luxury. Unlike Lively, she kept her jewelry to a minimum with just a few rings. These include the Octavia Elizabeth “Adele” ring, featuring a 2.5-carat pear-shaped diamond, which complements her retro-chic aesthetic.

Anna wore her hair down in thick curls that gorgeously fell over her shoulders. Her neutral makeup emphasized her natural attractiveness.
The icing on the cake to Anna Kendrick’s vintage-inspired red outfit was a pair of glittery gold Christian Louboutin “Iriza” pumps, featuring a classic d’Orsay silhouette and intricate Rococo detailing.
These iconic heels have become a red carpet staple among fashion-forward celebrities—Gigi Hadid wore her gold Iriza pumps with a plunging Zuhair Murad gown at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, creating a seamless blend of glam and sophistication. Elle Fanning opted for strass-encrusted Iriza heels to complement a playful Vivienne Westwood squiggle-print dress, adding sparkle to her youthful red carpet look.
On Anna Kendrick, the carved gold finish of her Iriza pumps echoed the metallic buttons on her Rixo red skirt suit, tying together her retro 1980s-inspired ensemble with a refined and cohesive edge.

Featuring a timeless d’Orsay silhouette, the pumps beautifully frame the curves of Anna’s feet, adding an air of sultry sophistication. What truly sets them apart is the intricate Rococo motif—expertly laser-carved into the surface rather than simply printed—offering a richly textured, luxurious finish.
The pointed toes and towering stiletto heels not only enhance the shoe’s dramatic flair but also provide a flattering lift, subtly elongating Anna’s petite frame.
