Style Icons: How Alessandra Ambrosio and Erin Heatherton Rock Black Scarves

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show occurred yesterday at TAO Downtown in New York. Were you able to catch it?

It will air on December 10, just in time for the holiday season, so don’t forget to tune in. As of today, however, the sexy “angels” are all over the news.

Taylor Swift and Fall Out Boy also performed at the event, so you can imagine the number of loyal fans now trying to access YouTube to watch their performances (and get a peek at the models). We’ve included the video clip if you want to watch it.

Before the show started, models were seen entering the venue in their off-duty looks. Of the leggy ladies we spotted, Alessandra Ambrosio and Erin Heatherton were the ones we immediately noticed.

Can you guess why? Yes, it’s because the two were decked in scarves. Alessandra layered to the hilt by wearing a black sweater and denim cutoffs over black tights and thigh-high boots.

She finished her outfit with a furry black-and-white coat and a black scarf.

Erin showed some skin by wearing a short skirt, knee-high boots, and a tailored wool coat. She finished the outfit with a black scarf around her neck and a red purse from Alexander Wang.

Here’s the obvious question: between the two lovely ladies, who do you think looks chicer in her black scarf, Alessandra or Erin?

Black scarves are easy to wear because they are so essential. To make a black scarf stand out, you must wear it correctly.

Alessandra used a black scarf to keep everyone’s attention on her statement coat. On the other hand, Erin used the black scarf to complement her bag. We’d probably go with Erin’s look if we had to pick between the outfits. What about you?
