Were you able to catch the 2013 Oscars? Even after the statues were handed out at the 85th Academy Awards, everyone couldn’t stop talking about the fashion — and we couldn’t either.

A big congratulations to Jennifer Lawrence for winning Best Actress and to Anne Hathaway for taking home Best Supporting Actress (and flashing that unforgettable smile while doing it).

When it came to red carpet glamour and standout designer shoes, a few stars made lasting impressions — even though the overall show felt a little underwhelming.

Stars who impressed on the red carpet included Kristen Stewart in a delicate Reem Acra gown paired with ballet flats, Anne Hathaway in a light pink Prada dress complemented by custom vegan Giuseppe Zanotti heels, and Jennifer Hudson in a Roberto Cavalli gown with stunning designer heels.

While we noted that pale hues and glittery frocks ruled the night, we also noticed that some famous regulars were missing at the high-profile event—Brad, Angelina, Cameron Diaz, et al. Nonetheless, watching the celebrities walk the red carpet in their snazzy outfits was still entertaining.

Of the ladies who dressed to the nines, the six below stood out for us. These “Best of the Best Dressed” women got it right from head to toe, which is why they’re here today. Tell us, do you agree with our choices?

1. Jessica Chastain Stuns in Old-Hollywood Glamour Wearing Armani Privè

One of the standouts was Jessica Chastain. The red-haired beauty channeled old Hollywood and looked stunning while doing so.

She chose a glittery beaded number in the most fantastic salmon color and paired it with ruby red lips and shiny wavy locks. With her uber-creamy white skin, Jessica was simply a vision you could not forget in her Armani Privè gown.

2. Jennifer Lawrence Wins in Bridal-Inspired Dior Haute Couture

While some didn’t like the all-too-bridal-white Dior Haute Couture gown Jennifer Lawrance wore to the Oscars, that didn’t change the fact that the blond beauty was 100% stunning in her textured floor-grazing frock.

Diamond earrings and a jeweled clutch finished her look and kept it classy.

3. Naomi Watts Glows in Pewter-Sequined Armani Privè Gown

Oscar nominee Naomi Watts was simply amazing in her glittery Armani Privè gown yesterday.

The dazzling pewter gown shimmered with sequins and featured a swoon-worthy, ultra-sexy asymmetric neckline. Naomi completed the look with a loose updo and sparkling Neil Lane jewelry.

Simply put, she was a showstopper — a perfect 10 on the Oscars red carpet.

6. Catherine Zeta-Jones Goes for Gold in Glamorous Zuhair Murad Couture

We were initially going to keep the selection to just five, but we simply had to feature the dress Catherine Zeta-Jones wore to the Oscars.

It was an exquisite number by Zuhair Murad that was very glam, gold, and beautiful. She capped it off with large statement earrings for a more dramatic look.
