After flying into Paris for fashion week, the model wrote an open letter to the critics who call her out for not having a “typical” skinny model body, and for speculating that she got where she is because of her family ties.

Gigi’s letter was very honest and raw and talked about how hard she’s worked to find her own place in her industry.

After penning the letter and leaving her haters to furiously smash away at their keyboards, Gigi dipped out for a magical time in Paris with her hunky boyfriend, Joe Jonas, who previously dated Blanda Eggenschwiler.
We’re pretty sure you all know who the winner is in this internet feud.

“So many people are so quick to comment negative opinions this month. Yes, judgment on social comes from people who, 99% of the time, have no idea what they’re talking about,” she wrote on Instagram, “but I’m human, and I’m not going to lie, I did let the negativity get to me a little.”
“No, I don’t have the same body type as the other models in shows. No, I don’t think I’m the best at any given show. Yes, I want to have a unique walk but I also know I have to improve,” Gigi continued.
“I represent a body image that wasn’t accepted in high-fashion before, and I’m very lucky to be supported by the designers, stylists, and editor that I am: ones that know this is fashion, it’s art; it can never stay the same.”
Added Hadid: “If you don’t like it, don’t follow me, don’t watch me, cause I’m not going anywhere. If I didn’t have the body I do, I wouldn’t have the career I do. I love that I can be sexy. I’m proud of it.
