Wow, can you believe Ashley Tisdale is married? It seems like just yesterday that she played the overly dramatic Sharpay Evans on High School Musical. Now, she’s the wife of musician Christopher French, whom she started dating in 2012 and got engaged to in August 2013.
Ashley has always embraced a rock-tinged boho style, so we anticipated a flowy wedding dress with a hint of skin. Imagine our surprise when she chose a traditional gown instead. Classic cap sleeves covered her shoulders, and a voluminous ball skirt cascaded around her. Her loose waves were perfectly complemented by a baby’s breath flower wreath, adding a touch of whimsy to her elegant look.
Check out Ashley’s wedding dress and wedding day look in the picture below, which she shared on Instagram: “Best day of my life! Introducing Mr and Mrs French Sept 8, 2014 Shot by @corbingurkin”. It seems that underneath her LA-cool exterior, Ashley is still a Disney princess at heart.

BFF Vanessa Hudgens was in attendance and part of Ashley’s bridal entourage. She wore a pale pink halter gown in the entourage’s pink-and-gray color palette and styled her hair in a milkmaid braid that mirrored the bride’s flower crown.
