Joy Villa, who shocked with her white bridal dress painted with a rainbow-colored image of a fetus at the 2018 Grammy Awards, made another pro-life statement on the red carpet at the 2019 Daytime Emmy Awards on Sunday in Pasadena, California.
The American singer-songwriter gave up a baby for adoption when she was 21 because of her strong belief that women should choose “adoption over abortion.”

She donned a custom Desi Designs gown embellished with images of storks carrying babies. The bright green skirt features the line “Pro-life is pro-woman”.
According to an Instagram post by the Fox News contributor, the dress is in honor of the anti-abortion group Save the Storks, “a charity my husband and I financially support … for only $35/month you can save the unborn and their mothers.”
Villa continued, “Abortion is so often only spoken about as a ‘women’s right’ but I stand here to stand up for EVERY WOMAN and her right to life!”
Not afraid of controversy, to the 2019 Grammy Awards, Joy wore a ‘build the wall’ dress featuring barbed wire. She also caused quite the stir with a dress with President Trump‘s “Make America Great Again” slogan emblazoned on the front at the 2017 Grammy Awards.
