Anne Hathaway is currently enjoying the results of her fashion rebrand.
Gone are the days of wearing bedsheet-inspired dresses or exuding granny chic at public events. Her current style is all about bold colors and striking prints that highlight her playful and sultry sides.

The Academy Award winner always adhered to the “less is more” approach, favoring classic all-black looks and simple silhouettes.
Anne has a regal air about her, and she always exudes refined elegance no matter what she wears. She could be wearing an ugly gown or a lovely dress with the wrong shoes, and she’d still manage to look effortlessly sophisticated.
A princess moment
The world was introduced to Anne Hathaway in the 2001 coming-of-age Disney film The Princess Diaries. She embodied the role of a socially awkward teenager and charmed audiences with her wit and silly antics.

We all fell in love with the lovable klutz, who tripped and fell straight into our hearts. Since then, we’ve seen her in a wide array of elegant gowns fit for the Princess of Genovia.
The bold and the beautiful
Of course, that doesn’t mean that she didn’t experiment with fashion along the way. Anne exuded modern glamour with a cool edge at the 2014 Academy Awards and even tried a bondage-inspired look for a premiere.
She seemed to favor head-to-toe black with flirty details or sheer panels for a hint of skin if she wanted to go for the sexy route.

Fashion rebrand
Nowadays, Anne looks like she’s having a blast playing and experimenting with fashion. We’ve seen the same energy from Hollywood’s current favorite fashion muse Tessa Thompson, Anne’s fellow Oscar winner Natalie Portman, and it-girl of the moment Sydney Sweeney.
Anne’s brand reset began when she switched stylists from Law Roach to Erin Walsh, who stepped in during the WeCrashed promotional tour.
This year, The Devil Wears Prada actress showcased an assortment of looks that are more bombshell than ingenue. She rolled out several retro-chic ensembles for her daytime looks during the Cannes Film Festival but reserved her Hollywood glam moment for premiere night.

Let’s take a look at some of Anne Hathaway’s memorable looks so far this year:
1. Valentino Pink PP Collection
Anne made a stunning appearance at the Valentino Haute Couture show during Rome Fashion Week. She combined two hot trends in one look – Barbiecore and the Valentino pink parade.
It was a sea of pink in the front row, with Anne joining K-pop sensation Hwasa, Oscar winner Ariana DeBose, Vogue editor extraordinaire Anna Wintour, and Oscar-nominated Florence Pugh.

The Valentino Pink PP collection took the fashion industry by storm since its debut. Some have succeeded in interpreting the trend, but others have most definitely not.
For Anne, it’s the former as she elevated it and made it elegant. She looked like a living Barbie doll, giving Margot Robbie (who stars in the upcoming Barbie film) a run for her money.
Anne wore a sequined minidress with long sleeves and a high neck. It features a peplum detail under the bust and a structured miniskirt that showed off her mile-long legs.
She carried a small Valentino Roman Stud shoulder bag and towered over everyone in her sky-high platform heels.

2. Valentino Spring 2022 look and open-toed heels
Last month, the Bulgari ambassador joined a slew of VIP guests at the luxury label’s Eden, The Garden of Wonders event in Paris.
She looked like a burst of sunshine in her Valentino Spring 2022 yellow shirt dress and matching shorts. The silk-faille maxi shirt dress has a buttoned front and a floor-sweeping hem. Only a few of the buttons were fastened to show off the shorts and glimpses of skin.
Of course, the star of the show is her stunning Bulgari diamond necklace. So she kept her styling simple with minimal makeup, a chic updo, and white open-toed heels.

5. Armani Prive gown and Santoni slingback sandals
Perhaps the most memorable fashion moment in Anne Hathaway’s illustrious career is this Armani Prive gown for her Cannes Film Festival debut.
It has all the makings of a classic Anne Hathaway look – a simple design with a timeless appeal and a subtle sparkle. However, she added a hint of sultry elegance with the bare shoulders and the sliver of skin between the bandeau and the floor-length skirt.
She finished off her look with the gorgeous Bulgari Mediterranean Reverie necklace and Santoni silver slingback heels.

8. Christopher John Rogers look and Giuseppe Zanotti Lilas sandals

9. Burberry trench coat and studded black leather ankle boots
Adding her own spin to a biker-chic look, Anne wore a Burberry coat with her black top and black leather pants. She opted for The Long Waterloo Heritage trench coat, which features the luxury label’s signature vintage check lining.
She carried two bags – a Bulgari Logo Infinitum tote and a Bulgari Serpenti Forever shoulder bag.
While the coat gave a sophisticated touch to her look, the leather pants and studded ankle boots added a dose of cool-girl edge.

Her hair was swept up in a ponytail with bangs and soft tendrils framing her gorgeous face.
She accessorized with stunning Bulgari jewels and finished off her look with Giuseppe Zanotti Morgana boots. These shoes have a patent finish with high platforms and chunky block heels.
