Shailene Woodley was cast as Mary Jane Watson in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and even filmed scenes, but her role was ultimately cut from the film.
The filmmakers felt that there were already too many characters in the movie and wanted to streamline the story. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 already had to introduce two new villains, Electro and Rhino, and they didn’t want to add Mary Jane to the mix.

Emma Stone’s lovely dress and shoes are from the fantastic Valentino Fall 2014 collection. Other ankle-strap pump styles feature ornate beads, sequins, and pony hair uppers.
The ’70s-inspired dot and diamond patterns on some pumps also appear on booties and knee-high boots. The collection has a romantic retro vibe, which perfectly matches Emma Stone.
