After Priyanka Chopra’s big People’s Choice win, another talented foreign actress has stepped onto American soil to claim a big acting award – that woman is none other than Swedish-born Alicia Vikander, who took home the Outstanding Supporting Actress trophy at the 2016 Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Alicia, who was nominated for her outstanding work at “The Danish Girl”, graced the red carpet of the 2016 SAG Awards. She portrayed the role of Gerda Marie Fredrikke Wegener, the supportive wife of transgender pioneer Einar Wegener/Lili Elbe (played by Eddie Redmayne).

Alicia showed up in a masterpiece by Nicolas Ghesquière for Louis Vuitton. The actress was draped in a fully-sequined long-sleeved dress with a thigh-high slit.
