On Thursday, the 24th of February, Russia invaded Ukraine. Despite the ongoing tension between the two counties, this attack took the world by surprise.

Most countries chose not to get involved in the war due to various underlying political agendas; however, many individuals all across the globe took it upon themselves to show their support to the citizens of Ukraine.

Even here in America, people have set up GoFundMe pages to provide support to the people of Ukraine. One notable couple who set up an account to raise money on March 3rd is none other than Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are both well-known actors who starred in the sitcom That ‘70s Show. This move to raise awareness and show support to the people of Ukraine comes as no surprise as Mila herself is Ukrainian.

She was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine in 1983, and moved to America with her family at the age of eight.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher stated that their goal was to raise and match up to 30 million dollars for the people of Ukraine who were in need and displaced by the war. They started the fundraiser by donating $3 million to the effort to assist refugees.

Within forty-eight hours of posting their campaign, they reached the halfway mark of their initial goals. In a shocking outpour of support from their fans, the actors have now raised over thirty-five million dollars on GoFundMe. This incredible amount of support was achieved with the help of 72,500 people who contributed to the fund.

Despite their unpredicted success in raising funds for the people of Ukraine, Ashton Kutcher believes that there is more to be done for those affected by the invasion.

While they carefully distribute the funds to make the most impact, they continue to encourage their supporters to find other ways to get involved and support similar causes.

Currently, the funds have been delivered to Airbnb.org and Flexport.org. Airbnb is using the funds to provide free, short-term accommodation to refugees fleeing Ukraine, while Flexport.org is using the funds to organize shipments of relief supplies to refugee sites in the neighboring countries of Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, and Moldova.

According to the International Organization for Migration, over 3 million refugees have fled Ukraine since the start of the invasion. At least half of the refugees are still children. Within Ukraine, it is estimated that almost 7 million people have been displaced and forced from their homes in search of safety.

While this incredible donation is not enough to solve all of the problems, it still makes a huge impact on those in need. It is also heartwarming to know that Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are not alone in this fight to provide support.

They are joined by several other celebrities who are also raising funds for the people of Ukraine. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have also promised to match funds raised, and Gigi Hadid has donated all her fashion month earnings to the relief efforts in Ukraine.

This war between Russia and Ukraine is not over yet. There are still millions of people who need help. If you feel led to provide support or relief to the people of Ukraine, please reach out to organizations to get involved. Whether you are able to donate or even house refugees, it is not too late to provide your support.

In the summer of 2011, a fabulous-looking Mila Kunis appeared on the cover of Los Angeles Confidential Magazine’s summer issue.

The Friends with Benefits actress wore head-to-toe Lanvin for the cover photo. Her dress is from Lanvin, and so are her shoes and belt.

While we find Mila’s outfit totally appealing, our ever-on-the-lookout-for-gorgeous-shoes eyes zeroed in immediately on her amazingly gorgeous heels, which are the Lanvin ankle strap pumps. Here are better views:

Simply gorgeous, aren’t they? They come in pebbled leather with brown leather wraparound ankle straps that sport studded pull-through tabs at the sides. They’re fabulous and fierce with their stiletto heels.

The contrast created by the beige upper and wood platform is fantastic, while the wraparound ankle straps make them edgy. These shoes have feminine chic written all over them.

These Lanvin pumps also come in a fishnet version, which many of you may have seen before. Take a look:

A number of celebrities wore this fishnet version to many public events. And that’s not surprising considering how super sexy they are.

They’re beautifully structured and loudly scream FABULOUS! I can just imagine how dreamy they’d look up close.

Mila also went head-to-toe Lanvin for the premiere of Friends with Benefits. She paired a Lanvin Resort 2012 frock with black satin Lanvin pumps and gold jewels.
