Have you ever heard of Marié Christina Digby?

The half-Japanese American-born cutie made a huge splash on YouTube in 2007 when she performed her version of Barbadian singer Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” a song from her third studio album, Good Girl Gone Bad (2007).

Marié Digby’s acoustic cover version even appeared on the highly rated third season-opening episode of the MTV show The Hills.

Since then, she has released several albums and has appeared on multiple shows. Her latest gig was a guest appearance on “Extra!”

In January 2013, Marié was spotted arriving on the “Extra!” set yesterday at The Grove. She had on quite an outfit, too. The American singer wore an orange lace skirt and a pink lace top.

The American singer-songwriter finished her colorful ensemble with a black velvet blazer and pink multi-buckled clip-toe booties, which were hard to ignore.

Do you think her footwear completes the look? This look looks like a less-playful version of Japanese fashion to us. We’re not crazy about the combination, but Marié pulls it off. Can you help us identify her buckled booties?

Attention to foot care and complementary outfits is essential to styling open-toe shoes with flair. Ensure a fresh pedicure to highlight the open design, and consider adding tights or socks for seasonal flexibility.

For a streamlined look, pair open-toe shoes with skirts, dresses, or skinny jeans to elongate the legs. Mixing textures and colors in your outfit can further elevate the look, making open-toe shoes versatile across different settings and seasons.
