One month earlier, she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to discuss her love for Star Wars, which she shares with her two young sons. The boys became fans of the franchise after receiving toothbrushes featuring Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker.
When Banks revealed that Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker were the same character, her sons’ curiosity about the backstory was piqued. This led Banks to dive into an animated retelling of the Star Wars saga, complete with spot-on impressions of Chewbacca, C-3PO, and R2-D2.
“They really don’t know anything about Star Wars,” she shared with Ellen about her two young sons, 3-year-old Magnus and 4-year-old Felix. “I don’t know how Star Wars is doing it but they possessed my children with Star Wars.”

Elizabeth chose an Elie Saab embroidered guipure off-the-shoulder dress from the Resort 2016 Collection. The dress’s textured pattern features light blue, red, and black floral designs.

The gown features a full skirt that meets the flounce top at a feminine A-line waist. In addition to the full shoulder and neckline display, the dress offers a kaleidoscope of sewn ovals that cover the fabric in a mesmerizing pattern.
The nude sheer slip of the dress creates the illusion of daring cutouts subtly peeking through the intricate embroidery, giving the effect of the wearer being gracefully draped in fallen leaves or delicate flowers.

The 41-year-old blonde beauty looked stunning as she playfully placed her hands in the gown’s pockets before the premiere. She kept her makeup light, with rosy cheeks and lips in addition to bronze eye shadow, and she wore her golden hair in large, soft waves at her shoulders.
What’s your opinion of Elizabeth Banks’s colorful display? Was it too much to attend the premiere?
