Carrie Underwood is one of America’s biggest country music stars right now, so the music video debut for her latest single, “Good Girl,” from her new Blown Away album, was highly anticipated.
The video finally made its world premiere on Vevo on March 12th. With the many highly styled looks Carrie Underwood wore throughout the video (plus the great song), the “Good Girl” music video certainly did not disappoint and even made a non-fan like myself sit up and take notice.
The music video premiered with a teaser on Entertainment Tonight on March 12, 2012, followed by the full release on her Vevo channel the same evening. Directed by Theresa Wingert and edited by Jacquelyn London, it features Underwood in dual roles.
She portrays the titular “Good Girl” and another character who cautions her about her ill-suited partner. This video garnered significant acclaim, winning the fan-voted Video of the Year at the 2012 CMT Music Awards.
One of the outfits styled on Carrie Underwood was this high-low hemmed floral dress belted at the waist with a tan grosgrain ribbon belt.
You can tell just by the dress’s country charm vibe and the daisy she’s holding that this is Carrie as a “good girl” in the video.

It IS a sweet look, but check out the pink heels on her feet: sexy and kittenish, something a good girl wouldn’t dare to wear.

Maybe that’s why these shoes were paired with that dress: so that the high-low hem can properly show them off!
Carrie Underwood’s good girl dress is this ‘Marissa’ dress from Elizabeth and James:
