Starring in the American reality television series franchise Basketball Wives that airs on VH1, she has been married to former NBA player and current Sacramento Kings assistant coach Doug Christie since 1996. He’s believed to have a net worth of $20 million.
“I would say communication and respect,” she told E! News about her long marriage in May 2022. “You’re gonna go through ups and downs in any relationship, but when you put each other first—and that means making sure that you wouldn’t do to your partner what you wouldn’t want them to do to you—if you keep those things in the forefront and have fun? It can go on and on and on.”

“I’m still in love with him,” Jackie added. “I still get butterflies when I know I’m about to see my husband. It’s the best thing ever and I just wish that for everybody.”
“A lot of the ladies give me my flowers all the time and they say ‘I want what you have. I want it like yours,'” she said.
Jackie has a daughter, Takari Lee, from a previous relationship. Douglas “Doug” Dale Christie and Jackie are the parents of Chantel Christie and Douglas Christie Jr.

“And I told them even I—who has been married 26 times—I still question if he still finds me attractive. I ask him those questions and he tells me, ‘You have nothing to worry about.'”
How did Jackie and Doug Christie Meet?
They met at a sports bar through a mutual friend. In an interview with Amber Rose for VH1’s “14 Days of Love,” Jackie explained how they became a couple.
“A mutual friend of ours, Steven Taylor, wanted us to meet. He was at a sports bar [with Doug]. He said, ‘Just come over here.’ I flew over and 20 girls were around Doug, and I was like, ‘Nope!’ So I left and then he came outside and we met and we were just, together after that.”
