Rita Ora did her best to look smashing in a red dress at the 2015 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday in New York City.

She even posed with the designer himself, Tom Ford. Unfortunately, she disappointed fashion critics by choosing a red gown that could have been fabulous if not for the fur trim, which gave it a school project vibe.

She attempted to elevate the cheap-looking, costume-like dress with jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz.

This high-neckline dress would have looked much better without the fur lining. We wonder who decided to add it.
