Fashion Week allows us to see the clothing and shoe trends that will be popular each season. But more than that, I always look forward to seeing what our favorite stylish stars will wear on the coveted front row!

Christian Dior’s show is typically one of the most star-studded. This year, stars like Anya Taylor-Joy, Jenna Ortega, supermodel Karlie Kloss, and K-pop star Jisoo graced the front row at the Musée Rodin for Maria Grazia Chiuri’s whimsical Spring 2025 Haute Couture presentation.

Drawing inspiration from Yves Saint Laurent’s 1958 Trapèze collection for the House of Dior and the Cigale silhouette designed by Monsieur Dior himself for his Fall/Winter 1952 haute couture collection, Maria Grazia’s latest offering blends vintage and contemporary styles.

It delivers everything fanciful and magical, from floral lace dresses to bamboo cage skirts, panniers, crinoline skirts, culottes, and punk-style headpieces.

The collection was mirrored in the show’s installation, imagined by Mumbai artist Rithika Merchant and hand-embroidered by the talented artisans of Chanakya School of Craft.

The show spaces’ three walls—past, present, and future—told “a tale of shared ancestry and cultural heritage.” It showcases whimsical scenes filled with mythological creatures and symbolic elements, including human-bird hybrids, lions adorned with headdresses, blooming flowers, and eerie plants with watchful eyes.

I anticipated front-row guests to wear equally spectacular outfits, but they opted for more subdued attire—a strategic choice to avoid blending into the elaborate installation.

Anya Taylor-Joy Revives Flapper Glamour in Beaded Fringe and Velvet Elegance

Known for her daring fashion choices, Anya Taylor-Joy didn’t disappoint with her modern-day flapper outfit that flaunted her enviable figure.

She mixed and matched pieces from Dior’s archery-themed Spring 2025 collection, wearing a black velvet one-shoulder bodysuit with a cutout back and a beaded, fringed skirt that hung down to her ankles, giving the ensemble a sense of movement. It swayed as she strutted before photographers, showing off her legs.

Adding an edgy twist to the 1920s flapper look, Anya paired her ensemble with black leather opera gloves from Dior’s Spring 2025 collection. Extending up to her shoulders, they featured a sleek design fastened at the back with a delicate clasp.

Her beautiful, side-parted Old Hollywood curls and strappy black stiletto heels added a flirtatious feminine touch to the edgy flapper ensemble.

They have thin straps across the open toes and buckled ankle straps resting atop thin stiletto heels, boosting Anya’s 5’6.5” height.

Anya Taylor-Joy’s fashion journey is a testament to her versatility and bold style choices. From her daring, pantless looks during the “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” promotion to her ethereal appearance in a bedazzled Miss Sohee headdress, she consistently captivates audiences.

Her edgy ensemble at the Dior Cruise 2025 show and her leggy display in a sheer mini dress at “The Northman” premiere further showcase her dynamic fashion sense. Explore our ranking of Anya Taylor-Joy’s top films for a comprehensive look at her cinematic achievements.

Jenna Ortega Masters Power Dressing in Sleek Blazer Mini and Statement Heels

Every time Jenna Ortega wears black, many instantly associate it with her breakthrough performance on Wednesday. But that wasn’t the case with her most recent black outfit.

Ortega’s appearance at Musée Rodin is more Matrix-coded than gothic, with a sleek, edgy blazer and leather gloves similar to Anya Taylor-Joy’s.

I like how the Spring 2025 blazer dress looks flattering on Jenna’s petite frame. Thanks to the side buckled straps and front buttons, it fits her perfectly, counterbalancing the short, wide, structured sleeves. It also comes with notched lapels, a plunging neckline, and a hip-length hem, creating a sexy yet powerful look.

Instead of wearing the jacket with trousers, Jenna chose to show off her legs in teeny tiny black shorts paired with sheer black tights, giving the sophisticated blazer dress a cool and carefree vibe.

Her black leather gloves, which reached her shoulders, black Diortribales sunglasses, $4,500 black Dior Medium D-Journey bag with gold-tone hardware, and bold red lipstick enhanced the look’s tough-chic glamour.

Jenna paired her ensemble with tall, open-toe shoes to create a more polished and confident look. She went with the $1,590 Dior Tribales heeled sandals from the house’s Cruise 2025 collection.

The slightly curved comma heels adorned with a white resin pearl modeled after the namesake earrings and a silver-tone strass pearl bearing the CD signature make these heels instantly identifiable. I love how they add a touch of sparkle to the satin sandals.

The thick platforms, buckled ankle strap, and crisscrossing satin straps give them a refined appearance while boosting Jenna’s 5’1” height.

Jenna Ortega’s fashion evolution showcases her penchant for bold footwear choices that complement her edgy ensembles. At the 2022 MTV Movie and TV Awards, she donned a chic black Valentino ensemble, elevating her look with the brand’s Tan-Go pointed platform heels, adding a contemporary flair to her outfit.

More recently, during the Beetlejuice press tour, Ortega embraced the platform trend, pairing her tailored attire with towering Le Silla heels, demonstrating her fearless approach to fashion. These selections highlight her ability to integrate statement footwear seamlessly into her distinctive style.

Jisoo Mixes Coquette Chic with Edgy Elegance in Dior’s Black-on-Black Ensemble

Blackpink’s Jisoo, Dior’s fashion and beauty ambassador since 2021, made headlines as she graced the Dior front row, looking modern and elegant in an all-black Dior Pre-Fall 2025 ensemble.

I love how her front-row look not only pays homage to the French fashion house but also highlights her unique flair, which is edgy yet carefree and often infused with a touch of sophistication.

Up top, Jisoo wore a sleek and contemporary black leather biker jacket with an overlapping front, ribbed mock neck, hem, and cuffs. It also featured a zipper closure hidden underneath the buttoned flap. She paired it with a black sheer midi skirt and tights for her bottoms.

I adore how her skirt’s airy, delicate style blends with the jacket’s sleek, contemporary design to create a daring yet elegant look that perfectly captures Jisoo’s aesthetic.

She kept the rest of her accessories to a minimum and carried her front-row essentials in Dior’s Lady Dior My Abcdior Bag with crystal charms.

Although I admire every piece of her outfit, as a whole, it gives off a funeral look. The wake ambiance is further enhanced by her hair accessories, which include a $540 Le Noeud de Dior Barrette in Dior’s signature bow and a $500 Dior Cabinet de Curiosités Barrette in the shape of a gold-tone starfish with white resin pearls. ICYDK, women in Korea wear white ribbon clips in their hair during funerals.

Aside from the funeral association, Jisoo likely intended to embrace the coquette trend with her hair clips, which complemented her bow-accented footwear.

She slipped her feet into the $1,090 Dior “Adiorable” pumps made in Italy of cotton and technical fabric. Modern and elegant, these pumps have an unstructured bow on the front adorned with a CD signature white resin pearl.

They have 4-inch heels and pointy toes that give the ensemble a sophisticated finish.

The coquette aesthetic, characterized by its embrace of feminine and romantic elements like lace, ribbons, and soft pastels, has seen a resurgence in contemporary fashion. Celebrities such as Kirsten Dunst have been spotted channeling this style; she donned a mint green coquette-style Dice Kayek dress at the London screening of “Civil War,” showcasing the trend’s delicate charm.

Similarly, Ice Spice embraced a coquette goth girl look in a Wiederhoeft little black dress at the Billboard Women in Music Awards, blending flirty and edgy elements seamlessly. For those looking to incorporate this aesthetic into their wardrobe, pieces like corsets, ballet flats, and ribbons are essential. The coquette trend in 2023 emphasizes having fun with fashion through a feminine lens, mixing classic staples with contemporary pieces to create a versatile and personalized style.

Karlie Kloss Elevates Office Siren Style in Tailored Skirt Suit and Luxe Accessories

While underwhelming for some, considering fashion week is a chance for celebrities to showcase their style, I love how Karlie Kloss opted for an elevated business chic outfit that we can easily replicate.

Embracing the office siren aesthetic that was all over TikTok in 2023 and 2024, Karlie Kloss wore a Pre-Fall 2024 skirt suit composed of a charcoal fitted pencil skirt and a matching blazer. Its peplum hem and plunging neckline give the business outfit a flirtatious feminine touch.

To keep her business attire professional, she accessorized with minimalist pieces like a Cartier Panthere De Cartier watch and a delicate Cartier D’amour necklace.

She then carried a black Dior Cannage bag and slipped her feet into the “D-Fame” pump, designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri to honor the house’s sophisticated and contemporary codes.

They have pointed toes and a cutout at the back, set atop an architectural 4-inch gold-finish metal heel.

The “office siren” trend has been making waves in the fashion world, seamlessly blending professional attire with sultry elements to create a powerful yet alluring look.

A prime example is Jennifer Lawrence, who embraced this style by donning a sleek, dark gray, fitted three-piece suit from Dior’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection during Paris Fashion Week. Her ensemble featured a form-fitting cropped vest, worn daringly without anything underneath, paired with an oversized charcoal blazer, epitomizing modern sophistication.

Similarly, Bella Hadid has explored the office siren aesthetic, exuding the essence of a savvy entrepreneur by pairing a sleek grey Gucci blazer with a mini skort ensemble, striking a balance between sassiness and sharpness.

To incorporate this trend into your wardrobe, consider combining tailored pieces with unexpected elements, such as a fitted blazer over a lace camisole or high-waisted trousers paired with a silk blouse. This approach allows for a harmonious blend of professionalism and allure, perfect for making a statement in both the boardroom and beyond.
