Naomi Watts is kicking off the year with a promotional tour for her new book on aging and menopause, Dare I Say It, in New York City. She departed Los Angeles last week wearing casual airport attire amidst the wildfire chaos. Around this time last year, Watts was busy promoting Feud: Capote vs. The Swans, in which she plays socialite Babe Paley.

Naomi has been drawing attention with her chic and sophisticated wardrobe selections as she makes the rounds on the press circuit this week, showcasing her keen eye for fashion. Her outfits have ranged from sleek designer pumps, dresses, and co-ords, each exuding elegance and refinement.

Sophisticated Elegance: Naomi Watts Shines in Loewe Pumps and Emilia Wickstead Tweed Dress

Naomi arrived at the Today studios wearing a pair of modern slingback pumps by Loewe, a luxury Spanish fashion house known for fusing fashion and art. Her shoes are a perfect example of the quirky good designs that constantly make the house’s shoe collections the talk of the town.

She donned the Loewe “Onda” slingback pumps, which aren’t your typical pointed-toe slingback pumps. They’re chunky but modern and chic, with asymmetric wavy square toes and 3.5-inch chunky block heels. In addition to the slingback strap, they have instep straps that resemble Mary Janes.

Although the thick heels give off an air of toughness and edge, I love how the strappy upper gives them a decidedly feminine and glamorous look. Watts wore them with black stockings, making them look more seasonally appropriate.

These Italy-made brushed leather pumps are available for $1,200 at Farfetch and Mytheresa.

Loewe’s innovative designs have recently captivated the fashion world. Ariana Grande embraced Old Hollywood glamour with a modern twist by donning a custom pink Loewe gown paired with the brand’s distinctive Toy pumps at the 2025 NBR Gala. Similarly, during the Challengers promotional tour, Zendaya showcased her flair for method dressing by stepping out in a Loewe tennis dress complemented by the brand’s unique tennis ball heels.

Naomi teamed her contemporary Loewe pumps with a boucle tweed dress by London-based Kiwi fashion designer Emilia Wickstead, renowned for her superb craftsmanship.

Emilia Wickstead’s designs have graced numerous red carpet events, showcasing her signature blend of modern elegance and classic tailoring. At the Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon, Brie Larson turned heads in an eye-catching ensemble, pairing a pink puff top with an eye-printed skirt, exemplifying Wickstead’s playful yet sophisticated aesthetic.

Similarly, Emma Watson embraced sustainable fashion at the ‘Beauty and the Beast’ London premiere, donning a custom Emilia Wickstead gown crafted from repurposed fabric, highlighting the designer’s commitment to eco-friendly practices.

Although Naomi’s ensemble exemplifies Wickstead’s ability to blend classic ideas with contemporary elements, it lacks the designer’s signature use of vibrant colors. Nevertheless, I adore the black and ivory boucle tweed fabric, which enhances the silhouette’s opulence and classic appeal.

Naomi wore the “Jody” dress ($2,300 at Mytheresa), exquisitely tailored to create a sleek and clean silhouette. It’s modest with a high collared neckline, short sleeves, and a nipped-in waist that draws attention to the figure before flowing into a pleated midi skirt.

Boucle tweed is often associated with elegance and grace thanks to its elaborate weaving. You’d usually see A-list stars and even royals in boucle tweed outfits from high-end designers.

Outside the studio, Watts was spotted bundled up in a $6,950 Akris Cashmere Double Face blazer coat to stay warm. She shielded her eyes behind oversized sunnies and added sparkle to the monochromatic look with tiny hoop earrings and a Bea Bongiasca Oval Vine hand-painted enamel ring with an oval-cut rock crystal.

Rounding out her look, Watts carried her belongings in the $3,590 black Oscar de la Renta “The Poppy” bag, which features the house’s signature O at the decorative bag tag.

Retro Charm: Shushu/Tong Off-the-Shoulder Dress Paired with Jude’s Modern Pumps

After her appearance on Today, Naomi headed to Live with Kelly & Mark, where she changed into a pair of classic yet sleek pumps by Jude, a brand renowned for its comfortable, stylish, and high-quality shoe designs.

She wore the $510 “Fame” pumps made in Portugal from black brushed leather. Although these pumps have a classic almond toe shape, their 4-inch curved dagger heels give them a modern appearance.

I adore their glossy finish, which subtly adds sophistication and refinement to any ensemble. Watts paired them with another gray outfit, creating a chic and timeless combination.

Watts wore a light gray off-the-shoulder dress by Shanghai-based womenswear label Shushu/Tong, known for its hyper-feminine aesthetic and striking silhouettes. The brand offers modern women unabashedly feminine designs with a laid-back and cool attitude.

Naomi’s dress exemplifies the label’s ethos, combining retro-feminine flair with an easy-going vibe. It reminds me of a retro nurse uniform with a unique off-the-shoulder lapel collar that adds a flirtatious touch to the slim-fit style.

Her dress is finished with short sleeves, large front buttons, and a knee-length hem. Naomi layered a white top with quarter sleeves and an off-the-shoulder v-shaped neckline underneath.

Accessories-wise, she wore the same jewelry, sunglasses, and Oscar de la Renta bag.

Understated Glamour: Patrizia Pepe Pumps and Attersee Knit Top for a Stylish City Look

For her third look of the day, Naomi Watts was seen walking along the pavement outside Hudson Yards in a pair of Patrizia Pepe pumps.

These $384 sleek, minimalist, and smooth leather shoes are a modern take on the classic pump. Their innovative, sophisticated, and clean lines capture the distinctive style of the Italian fashion brand.

They provide a stylish touch to any ensemble with their d’Orsay design, sharp pointed toes, and 4-inch heels.

I adore how her shoes’ sleek, contemporary style complements her outfit selection, which consists of airy ivory silk slacks and Attersee’s “The Compact” knit top.

I particularly love the top’s refined, regal appearance. It’s made of ivory viscose knit and features a streamlined, hip-length silhouette and a rounded crew neckline. Creating a flattering cutaway shape at the waist, Naomi left the bottom buttons open.

She enhanced her chic yet understated look with a $5,700 Celine “Chesterfield” double-breasted coat in nutmeg brown cashmere. It complements her sleek appearance with its notch collar, shoulder pads, and front panel. It also has practical chest and flap pockets and Celine Paris-engraved horn buttons along the front and cuffs.

Making the most of her white ensemble, Naomi added gold jewelry for a touch of glamour and sparkle. She wore a pair of Yvonne Leon Paire De Maxi Creoles 9k yellow gold earrings with 0.04ct. diamonds, the Parisian jewelry designer’s Chevaliere Ovale Gold signet ring with around 0.015ct. diamonds, and Anita Ko’s Classic Zoe ring.

Naomi’s $3,490 light taupe Oscar de la Renta “The Ivy” handbag completed her simple yet stylish ensemble. It pays homage to the brand’s legacy, with its curved seams echoing the graceful curvature of the logo.

Timeless Winter Chic: Prada Slingbacks and a Cashgora Coat Dress

Later in the day, Naomi Watts arrived at The Kelly Clarkson Show in Prada’s celebrity-favorite sleek slingback pumps.

These $1,200 pumps are crafted using brushed leather, a hallmark of Prada’s luxury footwear since the 1990s. The 3-inch heel’s geometric design is inspired by the house’s triangular logo, which also appears as a slightly cushioned leather element at the toes, adding a modern touch to the silhouette.

Considering the timeless quality of these heels, Naomi put together a traditional winter wear that included a Prada coat dress.

This is arguably my least favorite of her book tour ensembles, but I nonetheless appreciate the timelessness and elegance of her navy double-breasted coat.

This Prada coat is made of rare, soft, luxurious cashgora fabric. It has a straight silhouette, a fabric triangle logo at the back, and shiny logo-engraved gold-tone front buttons that give the refined outerwear a brilliant touch.

Though simple, it has everything you need for a winter coat: thick sleeves with slits and buttons, flapped welt pockets, and a back vent for a comfy stride.

Adding star power to the straightforward look, Naomi shielded her eyes behind black sunnies. She then carried a $4,100 Prada Galleria mini bag in black patent leather, with clean and elegant lines complementing her sleek coat. Simple yet practical, it comes with a detachable shoulder strap, an enameled metal triangle logo on the front, side snap closures, and metal feet.

I thought it was clever of her to keep her jewelry simple, wearing just a pair of Dana Rebecca’s $2,200 “Sadie” Pearl Baguette Fluted Hoops complementing the shiny accents of her coat buttons and other accessories.

Naomi Watts’ recent choice of Prada slingback pumps during her Dare I Say It book tour underscores the brand’s enduring appeal among celebrities. For instance, Emma Watson has been spotted in Prada’s patent bow slingback pumps, adding a touch of elegance to her ensemble.

Similarly, Gigi Hadid turned heads at the Met Gala with her retro-inspired look, complemented by Prada’s crystal-embellished slingback pumps. These instances highlight how Prada’s slingback designs continue to be a favorite among fashion-forward individuals.

Power Dressing Done Right: Naomi Rocks Boots and a Celine Pinstripe Suit

Naomi Watts chose to power dress for her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. She exuded a sense of authority and sophistication by donning pointed-toe boots.

Naomi’s boots have that timeless appeal that can add a touch of refinement and polish to any ensemble. I adore their sleek and elongating appearance, with their high stiletto heels adding to the look’s powerful and confident atmosphere.

I love that Naomi paired them with charcoal gray pinstripe co-ords by Celine, creating a streamlined finish. She wore a white blouse with a Lavallière accent underneath, giving the ensemble a hint of vintage Parisian flair. Both whimsical and elegant, it perfectly captures the actress’ signature glamorous flair.

Naomi completed the ensemble with black sunglasses, gold rings, earrings, and a black Celine Camille purse with gold-tone hardware.

Tribeca Stroll: Naomi Watts Adds Height in Sleek Black Pumps and a Patterned Dress

Naomi Watts took a chic stroll down Tribeca on Friday, looking graceful in another pair of black pumps. She wore glossy black patent leather pumps with V-cut vamps and sleek pointed toes this time.

They aren’t the most comfortable shoes for walking, in my opinion, but they are the best for enhancing an outfit. They literally made Naomi’s 5’4” height several inches taller with their 4-inch heels.

Although I adore everything Naomi has shown us this week, her recent appearance wasn’t my cup of tea.

She paired her black pumps with a patterned blue dress and a black coat. While it looked smart and graceful, I didn’t find anything noteworthy. The coat and shoes complemented the blue dress nicely, but I felt the color was too drab.

It’s seasonally appropriate, but as I mentioned, nothing is particularly spectacular about it.

Naomi Watts’ Fashion Highlights: Iconic Looks That Define Her Style

Naomi Watts has consistently showcased her impeccable style across various events. At the 3rd Annual Menopause Symposium, she embraced bohemian elegance by pairing a fringe-trimmed midi skirt with Sole Bliss heeled loafers, effortlessly blending comfort with sophistication.

Earlier this year, Naomi and her daughter Kai made a striking appearance at the Dior Pre-Fall show in New York City, both donning matching white ensembles that highlighted their close bond and shared fashion sense.

Additionally, Naomi channeled the sophisticated elegance of Babe Paley, her on-screen character in Feud: Capote vs. The Swans, by wearing a strapless cream midi dress by Magda Butrym, capturing the essence of the iconic socialite. These instances underscore Naomi’s versatility and enduring presence in the fashion world.
