Katie Holmes appeared to be mourning the last day of her role as Mrs. Webb in the Broadway revival of Our Town as she walked to the Barrymore Theatre dressed in an all-black outfit.

Holmes has been on our fashion radar since the production officially opened in October 2024, impressing us with her take on the commuter-core aesthetic. She has mastered winter layering, demonstrating stylish ways to wear winter coats with classic shoes, like her favorite sneakers and boots, while looking chic and comfy.

Now that the production has ended let’s take a moment to appreciate the remainder of her winter looks, which will surely be added to our list of winter fashion inspirations.

Katie Holmes Elevates Her Style With Christian Louboutin Mary Jane Heels

Taking her final bow, Katie unexpectedly opted to forgo her usual white sneakers in favor of high heels, something she rarely wears outside the red carpet.

She donned the Christian Louboutin Cathedral Mary Jane pumps, reportedly inspired by the 1920-1925 English bar strap shoes that Louboutin had seen at the Bata Shoe Museum in Canada. Like Katie’s Louboutin heels, the original Roaring Twenties shoes in the museum feature elaborate latticework at the toes.

Christian Louboutin designed his take on the English bar strap shoes with an Art Deco-style upper made in Italy of patent leather with mesh inserts. They also have almond toes, buttoned Mary Jane straps across the foot, and 4-inch heels enhancing Katie’s already impressive 5’9” height.

Katie Holmes Stuns in a Timeless Black Trench Coat

As with her previous appearances, Katie Holmes’ sleek and timeless trench coat serves as the focal point of her ensemble. I like how the structured double-breasted silhouette exudes power and authority while the dark color gives off a sense of mystery and intrigue.

She looks polished and elegant in her minimalistic outfit, paired with a black sweater underneath and slim pleated trousers.

Katie kept her accessories and glam simple. She shielded her eyes behind oversized ombre sunnies and carried a black leather tote and a red canvas tote bag that matched the signature red bottoms of her Louboutin shoes.

Katie Holmes Redefines Winter Streetwear With a Pop of Color

The previous day, Katie was spotted wearing her favorite winter outfit formula.

She chose her go-to Autry “Medalist” shoes, which are vintage-style tennis sneakers made of soft white leather with beige suede panels. They have comfortable cushioned ankle collars and Autry logo markings that make them instantly recognizable.

Katie paired them with a gray sweater and a black coat to keep her warm. Of course, she wore her favorite gray beanie and sunglasses for that celebrity aura.

Holmes typically wears her Autry sneakers with baggy denim jeans or black trousers, but this time, she wore them with bright red baggy pants. I adore how the red pants stood out against the black coat’s neutral background, making for a striking and daring mix.

Katie Holmes Keeps It Cozy and Chic in Everyday Winter Essentials

I adore Katie’s winter wardrobe, though it seems like she has been wearing the same outfit repeatedly. It’s relatable, approachable, and easy to replicate!

A few days before the last day of her Broadway show, Holmes was pictured looking warm and cozy with a coffee in hand.

She wore a black coat and paired it with her casual winter staples: baggy denim jeans, a beanie, sunglasses, and her go-to Autry sneakers.

The combination is straightforward, but I’m all for it!
