After sporting a string of cool outfits at the Furiousa: A Mad Max Saga promotion in May, Anya Taylor-Joy is back to her glamorous self on the press circuit to promote her upcoming survival action movie, The Gorge, set to premiere on Apple TV+ in February 2025.

The actress, who rose to fame after her breakthrough performance in The Witch in 2015, looked stunning in a boho-chic creamy white set of featherlight pantaloons at the 2024 Comic Con Experience in São Paulo, Brazil. Her wraparound sandals are a great way to finish a dreamy, bohemian look.

I’m constantly fascinated by Anya’s style choices and how effortlessly she pulls them off. This only goes to show that Anya Taylor-Joy looks good in anything.

Anya Taylor-Joy’s Boho-Chic Look: Chloe Lace Bralette and Featherlight Pantaloons

Although her cool, tough-chic aesthetic from the Furiosa press tour would work well for The Gorge, Anya adopted a different style. She embraced bohemian splendor in a lacy ensemble from Chloe’s Spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection. Though entirely unrelated to the movie’s theme, it’s nonetheless remarkable!

She looked stunning in her $3,050 billowy pantaloons, also known as bloomers, worn as undergarments in the late 18th century. They are defined by their loose fit and gathered hems with lace trims.

Like those Victorian pantaloons, Anya’s has comfy, loose balloon legs and gathered frilled cuffs. Made of matte, light organic cotton silk charmeuse, they have sheer lace panels in the middle that reveal a glimpse of her thighs, giving the ensemble a stylish touch.

I’m not particularly fascinated by pantaloons. Their free-flowing fit can make them quite challenging to wear than contemporary pants. They have wide legs and a high waist, producing a more dramatic silhouette than regular trousers.

But I adore how Anya paired hers with a tiny, off-white, sheer lace bralette to counterbalance the volume of the pantaloons and create a flattering look. Its spaghetti straps held the ruffled top in place, and the tight, elasticated hems cut at her rib cage emphasized her voluminous pantaloons.

Anya Taylor-Joy Completes Her Boho Look with Aquazzura Wraparound Sandals

In my opinion, nothing completes a stylish bohemian ensemble better than wraparound sandals. Anya did exactly that, teaming her lacy ensemble with white lace-up sandals.

She wore the “Olie” sandals by Aquazzura, featuring slim straps that wrap around her ankles. They also have open toes and are finished with around 4-inch stiletto heels, adding extra inches to Anya’s 5’8” height.

Taylor-Joy wore the same heels a few months ago while promoting Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga on Good Morning America. She paired it with a simple white Acne Studios mini dress, creating a minimalist but chic and modern look.

Minimalist Magic: Anya Taylor-Joy’s Tiffany Accessories and Ethereal Beauty

I think it was wise of Taylor-Joy to keep her accessories simple so that her outfit could take center stage. She wore only a few rings and a dainty pendant necklace by Tiffany & Co.

Her Chinese Zodiac necklace, $2,900 at 1st Dibs, features an 18k stylized snake pendant suspended on an 18k Elsa Peretti rolo link chain.

Her platinum hair fell whimsically over her shoulders in her signature beach waves. She then applied dark pink lipstick to add some color to the white outfit.

Avant-Garde Glam: Anya Taylor-Joy Stuns in Cong Tri Top and Mugler Heels

Earlier on the red carpet for The Gorge Q&A at CCXP, Anya Taylor-Joy wore a different outfit that still amazingly captured her love for the extraordinary.

She selected a unique cropped, sculpted top by Cong Tri, a Vietnamese fashion designer whose avant-garde aesthetic is reflected in Taylor-Joy’s ensemble. The $2,240 top is crafted from white faille and features a pointed collar and a V-neckline.

The dramatic ruffled detail extending from the shoulders to the ab-baring cropped hem gives it a remarkable appearance. Although it’s chic and provides a contemporary look, I couldn’t help but compare it to a frilled lizard. But at least Anya Taylor-Joy managed to make it look high fashion!

To offset the top’s striking silhouette, Anya paired it with a basic black satin high-waisted miniskirt. It allowed her to flaunt her toned, flawless legs, further accentuated by a pair of black Mugler Spring 2025 shoes.

They look just as contemporary with sharp pointed toes, sculptural island platforms, and sculpted high heels. Slender straps secure them to the ankles.

Anya Taylor-Joy’s fashion journey is a testament to her versatility and bold style choices. From her daring, pantless looks during the Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga promotion to her ethereal appearance in a bedazzled Miss Sohee headdress, she consistently captivates audiences.

Her edgy ensemble at the Dior Cruise 2025 show and her leggy display in a sheer mini dress at The Northman premiere further showcase her dynamic fashion sense. Explore our ranking of Anya Taylor-Joy’s top films for a comprehensive look at her cinematic achievements.

The Gorge: Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller’s Intense Mission of Love and Survival

Anya Taylor-Joy has played various roles throughout her career, showcasing her versatility as an actress. She has generally portrayed strong-willed, assertive, and intelligent characters that frequently exude mystery or intrigue.

In The Gorge, Anya portrays elite sniper Drasa, while Miles Teller plays Levi. The two are assigned a mysterious mission of guarding the opposite sides of a deep, highly classified gorge to protect the world against an unknown enemy that may be hiding there. As they remain vigilant, they form a bond from a distance using their sniper scopes.

“We really tried to be there for each other because we get along really well,” Taylor-Joy told IGN in an interview.

“We love each other very much, and we thought that if we can be there for each other, that would be fantastic. The reality of the distance between them meant that if I was a real eyeline for Miles, I’d be (very small) and he could not see (my) face. But there was just this immediate rapport and we knew that that relationship existed. And so it was really fun. Sometimes I’d come to work and I’d watch something that (Miles) had done the day before, so I knew what I was reacting to. But it’s also a feeling. It’s a feeling that you can’t really fake. So I think we’re really lucky to be good friends.”
