I’ve always admired Gigi Hadid’s ability to make any outfit, even casual denim, look effortlessly chic. This was especially clear in her latest photoshoot for Maybelline, where she turned heads with three standout denim looks.
This new shoot comes several months after she was pictured putting an edgy spin on business wear for the beauty brand’s commercial shoot in March.

Hadid has been representing Maybelline as an ambassador since 2015, and she continues to prove she’s the perfect match for the role with her inherent beauty and fashion icon reputation. Her influence on fashion and beauty trends has earned her the “It girl” status, which I believe is something she deserves.
Bright and Casual: Gigi Hadid’s Cozy Yellow Sweater and Adidas Sneakers Ensemble
For her first look, Gigi was pictured looking like a ray of sunshine in a vibrant yellow knit sweater. This showcased her love of knitwear, which perhaps contributed to the creation of her luxury cashmere label, Guest in Residence.
However, instead of wearing one from her brand, Hadid donned a JW Anderson creation, which features a crewneck and an oversized fit with a ribbed hem, partially tucked into a pair of baggy blue jeans secured with a brown belt.
Although the cable-knit sweater and jeans seem too basic for a photo session, I love how relatable the combo looks. I adore how she managed to draw attention despite being all covered up, demonstrating that you don’t have to expose yourself to attract attention.
Her accessories, which included a multistrand pearl necklace and a few statement rings, added a whimsical and colorful touch to the ensemble.

Of course, Hadid wore gorgeous makeup using Maybelline cosmetics, highlighting her stunning features. She had on vibrant red lipstick that matched her nails. I adore how it heightened her ensemble’s vibrancy!
Though I had assumed she’d combine the jeans with high heels—not that her 5’10” height needed them—Hadid donned one of Adidas’ most popular sneakers, the Gazelle Indoor, which added to the outfit’s comfy, casual vibe. I love the semi-blue burst and almost yellow colorway, which complement her outfit perfectly.
They are made in Vietnam from suede with leather panels and texturized tongues with the Adidas logo. These low-collared shoes have a vintage appearance thanks to their rubber gum soles. They are $120 at FWRD and Nordstrom or $114 (previously $132) at Farfetch.

Hadid was spotted wearing a retro look that many would like to copy, demonstrating her ability to pull off various outfits.
It included a cashmere rugby shirt with red and pink stripes tucked into a pair of belted straight-leg, high-waisted jeans with cuffed hems.
I love how she layered the look with an oversized, textured brown leather bomber jacket, which added a sleek, sophisticated element to the casual pairing. It went well with her striped socks and versatile loafers in two-tone brown-and-white.

While Hadid pulled off the look, I found the striped socks challenging to style. A plain brown pair might have complemented the outfit even better.
I love how her two-toned loafers and sleek side-parted bob contributed to the ensemble’s vintage and manly aura!
