Hunter Schafer made waves in Berlin, Germany, at the Berlinale International Film Festival on Friday, February 16. She was there for her new horror film Cuckoo, joining her co-star Jessica Henwick and director Tilman Singer at the photocall and press conference.
Later, Schafer also attended the premiere of A Different Man, an American psychological thriller starring Sebastian Stan, Renate Reinsve, and Adam Pearson.
The 25-year-old American actress and model stole the spotlight on the red carpet at the Grand Hyatt Hotel with not one but two breathtaking ensembles.

She epitomized grace and sophistication in a white, swanlike Acne Studios creation from the Swedish luxury fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
This ethereal maxi column dress perfectly complemented The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes star’s unique style with its muted yet captivating hue.
The simplicity of its silhouette was enhanced by dramatic accents that seemed to come alive with her every movement. Feathers sprouted from the dress like delicate unicorn tails, adding an enchanting touch to her ensemble.

New Scream Queen Hunter Schafer in Horror Film Cuckoo
In Hunter Schafer’s latest horror flick, Cuckoo, she portrays a teenage character grappling with haunting visions while on a retreat at a resort in the German Alps with her father’s new family.
At the press conference, a journalist labeled Hunter as a budding “Scream Queen.”
Seeking clarification from the reporter, she asked, per Deadline, “A scream queen is, by definition, someone who does a lot of horror movies, right?”
Schafer added, “There’s no rhyme or rhythm to what I’m doing with it; I’m just going with it. I’m rolling with the waves, but I love horror movies, and screaming is really fun, and we got to a lot of that on Cuckoo.”
Dramatic in Green Maison Margiela Dress at A Different Man Premiere
Later on the same day, Hunter Schafer graced another red carpet, this time for the premiere of the film A Different Man.
She donned an ensemble from John Galliano’s awe-inspiring 2024 Maison Margiela Spring/Summer Haute Couture collection for this occasion.

Galliano’s recent collection showcased impeccably crafted garments and emphasized setting, storytelling, and theatricality.
While not typically associated with red carpet attire, these pieces demanded the right individual and stylist to bring them to life outside the runway. Schafer and her stylist, Dara Allen, excelled in doing just that.
The outfit boasted an off-the-shoulder bodice paired elegantly with a floral corset that accentuated Schafer’s figure flawlessly.

However, the showstopper of the ensemble was undoubtedly the dramatic bronze skirt that cascaded to the floor, boasting exaggerated hips for added flair. Layers of fringe dominated the skirt, culminating in a deep green under-layer and a striking motif near Schafer’s waist.
Eschewing jewelry, she let the striking attire speak volumes on its own. Schafer chose a pair of Margiela’s iconic Tabi flats to complete her outfit.
With her premiere look, she allowed the Margiela couture to take center stage, opting for a chic yet slightly messy updo and a bold red eyeliner to complement her otherwise natural makeup.
