Freida Pinto is usually such a lovely sight on the red carpet, but we think she missed the mark this time around. The actress arrived at the London premiere of her new TV series “Guerilla” looking as beautiful and radiant as always, but her outfit selection was just too much.
Freida picked a Temperley London ensemble that featured embroidered detailing all over. The embroidery was beautifully done with intricate patterns and multi-colored threads, but the busy design totally overwhelmed Freida’s petite figure, drowning her in layers of overly decorated fabric.
The matching long coat, which was used to add structure to the look, did not help at all. It just added even more unappealing bulk to the ensemble. Maybe Freida’s style team was going for something different, but failed to translate the look on the red carpet. This looked more like a matador-inspired hot mess than a high-fashion piece.

Freida topped the look with a long coat, which made the silhouette even more bulky distracting.
Too much details can be an eyesore.
