Were you able to catch the 39th Annual People’s Choice Awards yesterday?
The PCAs isn’t as glamorous as the Oscars, but considering it’s the first major event to kick off the awards season this year, the celebrities who showed up yesterday did make quite an effort to impress.
Several ladies opted to wear floor-length dresses, while others kept it short and sweet. However, a good number of them stuck with black or white. Bright colors and prints were also present, but you could count them with one hand.
Here’s a round-up of the faces that stood out at the event. Do tell her who looks the most stunning in her red carpet outfit.
1. Taylor Swift in the Ralph Lauren Collection
Of course, our Golden Girl gets the first mention. Taylor Swift attended the event looking sophisticated and sultry in a plunging white Ralph Lauren gown that simply screamed “grown-up. ”
Could this be the kind of Taylor we’ll see more of on the red carpet? We sure hope so!

2. Naomi Watts in Alexander McQueen
One lady gave the younger females at the PCA some serious competition: Naomi Watts. She sizzled in her backless Alexander McQueen gown. Do you agree?

3. Heidi Klum in Julien MacDonald
And then, of course, there was Heidi Klum. Interestingly, she didn’t wear anything too risqué at the event. Instead, she wore a beautiful gold-trimmed Julien MacDonald dress and simply looked elegant.
Don’t get us wrong- her Christian Louboutins are gorgeous, but we wish she had worn the dress with strappy sandals.

4. Rumer Willis in Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet
Rumer Willis showed everyone at the PCA how to wear sequined stripes. We have to admit, she looked stunning at the event. She wore Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet.

5. Rachel Leigh Cook in Oliver Tolentino
Oh, look at that! It’s the ‘She’s All That’ cutie, Rachel Leigh Cook! How can we forget the pretty face?!
The beauty made her red carpet return at the PCA in a gorgeous blue-green strapless gown by Filipino designer Oliver Tolentino. Do you love the look? Or are you bored with it?

6. Ashley Rickards in Aidan Mattox
‘Awkward’ star Ashley Rickards arrived at the event looking simple but exquisite in a beaded Aidan Mattox gown. What do you think of her dress? Thank goodness for her dark hair, yes? Otherwise, she would have looked somewhat washed out…

7. Lea Michele in Elie Saab
‘Glee’ cutie Lea Michele channeled girly girl drama at the PCA. She wore a fully beaded sheer and short number by Elie Saab in PINK!
And she finished it with equally stunning pink strappy sandals from the same designer. The head-to-toe monochromatic look would have been a perfect ten if not for the hairstyle, do you agree?

8. Chloe Moretz in Simone Rochas
Young star Chloë Grace Moretz gave everyone decked in color at the PCA a run for their money with her chartreuse floral number.
She paired the youthful scallop-trimmed Simone Rochas frock with gorgeous ankle strap pumps by Casadei. The mix was spot-on, and we seriously had nothing bad to say:

9. Emma Watson in Peter Pilotto
There was no doubt in our minds that Emma Watson, a.k.a. Hermione Granger, looked stunning in her multi-cutout and multicolored leather-trimmed Peter Pilotto dress at the event. Her look was bold, edgy, and fresh, and she simply stood out in her Tabitha Simmons sandals:

10. Jennifer Lawrence in Valentino Couture
Jennifer Lawrence wore black to the event, but there was seriously nothing classic or boring about her dress. It was glam, glittery, draped, and ultra-dazzling! Fit for a star, yes?!

11. Paris Hilton in Mary Katrantzou
Ok, we admit, we can’t quite figure out why Paris Hilton decided to wear a rather busy dress (that’s more appropriate for lunch with the ladies) to a red carpet occasion such as the PCA, but she almost made it work….up until the moment she decided to put on those bright blue pumps!
A more toned-down pair with a sexier silhouette would have been a better choice, would you agree?

12. .Kristin Kreuk in Jean Fares
We’re HUGE Kristin Kreuk fans (read: we love Lana from Smallville), but we weren’t too happy when we saw our ‘Beauty’ sashay on the red carpet in a salmon-colored Jean Fares number that drowned her tiny frame.
Still, she could work it well enough to avoid looking like a total disaster. Note to Kristin: Please wear RED next time; it’ll do you good!

13. Julianne Hough in Tony Ward Couture
Julianne Hough channeled the 80s with her shorter do and star dust-sprinkled number at the PCA. She didn’t look bad, but we can’t say she looked her best either, would you agree?

14. Brittany Snow in Maria Lucia Hohan
Brittany Snow almost got it right with her yellow Maria Lucia Hohan cutout dress. It was sexy, and the color suited her tanned skin.
The length, however, was not exactly the most flattering. Had she kept it to the knees and worn a pair of sexy sandals instead of classic court shoes from Giuseppe Zanotti, this write-up would have been different…

Well, ladies, can we have that answer? Which among these beauties had the best look at last Wednesday’s People’s Choice Awards? We’re trying to decide between Taylor, Naomi, and Chloe, but Naomi might win. Who’s your pick?
